Is this a good weight loss plan for a 14 year old?
IT'S SUMMER HURRAY But there is one problem and that is weight gain for me. I'm 5'9" and about 170 pounds, and I was wondering if this is a good diet plan. I will not starve my self, because it doesn't work.But I was thinking, that I should go vegan for 3 months. Go jogging every morning and do some other excercises like crunches sit ups and burpees or fast feet. And the only drink I should mainly drink is like water. If there are any other tips please feel free to offer them I want to drop 20 pounds or more over 3 months, and my goal weghit 150 pounds or below. Doctor putting 13year old on Topamax for weight loss?
Im 13 going to be 14 on may 30th and my doctor that gives me depression meds put me on topamax for weight loss he said he wants me to lose 20 or 30 pounds in a month & i go back to see him in a month. this is my first day of trying it and i have been going too the bathroom A LOT today and had stomache cramps and my face is hot..but is this all a coincidence? & Will i be able to lose that much by time i go back to see him? he told me i have to Im over weight but he just jumps right up and puts me on meds which i hate so he put me on them and im getting scared cause of the side affects..

Is this weight loss normal?
Well I'm 17, and my height is at around 180cm, I'm neither fat or skinny, I haven't done any sports in a few years, I did swimming and karate when i was 8 11, but that was basically it, aside from physical education at school, I've never done much exercise.Since beginning of April, I've been going to a gym, and when I started I noticed I gained a bit of appetite,though now I think I'm back to my regular appetite, but when I started I weighed about 75kg and now I weigh around 73kg.I haven't noticed much of a difference in terms of muscle definition, and since it is said that muscle is more dense than fat, it wouldn't make much sense that I'd be losing weight instead of gaining weight, which probably means I'm doing something wrong if I want to gain muscle.Would somebody explain me if this is normal? And if it's not, how can I correct the situation?

Unexpected weight loss?
I'm 16. This year I've been probably a bit more active. I'm in a my high school senior basketball team, so I've probably increased weekly trainings from 1 to 3. But unexpectatly in the past I'd say eight weeks I've dropped about 8kg or 18 pounds. It hasn't gone off all in one hit, but just slowly. I think I'm growing taller as well but not dramatically so. I'm a little worried about the weight loss too. My sister who has been away overseas for the past six months and came back last week. She kept going on about how thin I look. I've also been called pale in recent weeks. I've felt really tired in the weekends and not really interested in doing things. But i just put this down to increased activities also playing tennis this year and doing debating . I've also had a bit of a stomach problem, after food I''ve had cramps sore stomach and I've probably going to the toilet for number 2's at least three times aday. Is this all linked up with something health wise, and is 17 pounds 8 kg in eight weeks a lot to lose?

16 year old male - weight loss question?
Right, I'm male and 16 years of age. I've been slightly overweight since I was 9 10ish and it's about time I did something about it. I've just finished high school, so time isn't an issue. I'm starting to eat healthy and stick to 3 meals a day except for the occasional snack of carrots and hummus yum . For the last 3 days today included I've been doing a bike ride around my village. It's around 7 miles in total. Even though it feels like my legs are going to fall off, I'm hoping it'll make a difference in the long run. If I were to continue this same route every day for the next couple of weeks, how much of a difference would it make? And how long would it take till there was a visible change in my weight? Once inside the healthy range I plan on working out and becoming muscular, as I'm already quite naturally strong.

Confusion with weight loss?
I'm aware that to lose weight you must burn more calories then you consume, but that makes me really confused. I eat 1009 calories a day cause I'm trying to lose weight. Everyday I go to the gym everyday, walk home and jump on the trampoline and all of that makes me lose 883 calories, which isn't more then I consume, so does that mean I can't lose weight?

Has anyone out there had success with the Sensa weight loss program?

Healthy meal replacement.. weight loss?
I work 3rd shift. I walk about 8 miles a night at my job. When im not working, im sleeping running errands, or with my boyfriend. I am really trying to lose weight but I just cant. I think my problem is that I dont eat enough. some days im lucky if I consume 300 calories. Id like to try some kind of meal replacement.. Like a powder I can make a drink with? I need energy for work also. Im not looking for slimfast or anything like that, I want something thats gonna work and help me possibly lose weight and give me lots of natural energy. im 25 year old female, obviously not looking to build muscle. I need help for modeling/ I need weight loss-tips?
So, I'm at a healthy weight female 21yrs 5'9 140lbs bmi 20.7 , but in about 3 months I'm up for a job modeling, and the representative told me my bmi should be between 18.0 18.9. So this means I need to lose about 15 20lbs in such a short amount of time. My goal weight is 125lbs by August 1st, 2012. So I need to lose about 15lbs. Please help Suggestions??
