Could i have a concusion or vertigo pain?
Yesterday I got it with a soccer ball on my head n since then I have been feeling dizzy on and off n feel like the room is spinning I also feel that way when. I close my eyes what could it be I don't have any headaches just dizziness once in a while
Are there any over the counter medications for dizziness/vertigo? ?
Yesterday at school I got really light headed and now my head feels really dizzy and my stomach hurts bait any ideas?
Whats vertigo and how long does it last?
Can it be cured faster by activities, food, medicine ....... ?
What could cause persistent vertigo?
I've been struggling with chronic vertigo almost every day since January. Once it got so bad I coudn't stop vomiting and ended up in the emergency room. The neurologist has me on meclizine and valium while they keep doing blood work and MRIs.The medicine mostly keeps it under control. Some days it's barely there and I don't really need any pills. Other days it's so bad I have to take meclizine every 2 3 hours.My husband and I both have stressful jobs, and he believes that's the cause. My neurologist thinks it might be more serious.Either way, I'm tired of being sick for no reason. I can be sitting in a restaurant having fun, and then for no reason I get extremely dizzy and start having a panic attack. I've had to spend most of this weekend lying down because the room spins when I move my head.One time at work I had a panic attack. I was wearing a pulse monitor that day that the neurologist ordered. My pulse went over 170, and now they're making me go to a cardiologist.I'm tired of being sick and not knowing what's wrong. I really can't talk to my husband about it because he is under tight deadlines at his job and working 7 days a week. We've already had to spend a lot of money this year, two ambulance rides, two ER visits, several specialist office visits, etc. I feel scared, and I just want this all to go away.Any advice or help out there?ETA Yes the panic started the day I went to the ER for the first time. I really thought I was in danger of dying that day. The second ER visit was due to intense pain in my stomach that they never did an explanation for. I went to a gyn and she tested everything and they couldn't figure out what caused that pain. Ever since then when I feel a flare up of vertigo coming on it makes me scared.
Can I get disability with epilepsy, type 1 diabetes, and vertigo?
Found out about my type 1 diabetes in Jan. of 2006, and vertigo not much long afterward. I've always had the feeling of seizures but only here lately have they been actually happening full force. 4 seizures within a months time and 2 of them were at work the other 2 were one right after another and I've been to hospital every time
What can i do about this dizziness/vertigo?
I've had this since the 4th grade, where while standing walking at first i'd have a minor upset stomach, then i would have dizziness vertigo to the point where it forces me to sit down where i am standing. i vomit when forced to move. This occurred roughly every year or so at random times and I've gone to see my doctor about this, she says i needed to eat more on that day. Pretty much every medical professional told me this, and i know this is not true. can anybody tell me what this is, and who should i ask about this? i've skipped my fifth day of school today due to this. I'm 17 years oldlast time this happened was October last yearthis recent occurring is the worst yetcondition begins with a slightly upset stomach, feels like nervousness stress. i don't think much of itfeel lightheaded, dry mouth, i realize what is happening, i will try to rest if i am able. If not, dizziness vertigo sets in, if i am in public, i will try to go straight home. if i become excessively dizzy, vomiting will occur, it is not controllable. I have seen the doctor 5 times, each time i was told to eat my breakfast. i want this resolved NOW. if this happens when i'm behind the wheel of a car, things will not look good.
Could I be suffering from vertigo?
I suffer from insomnia quite often and on the nights that I do sleep good, I wake up with severe headaches. I also get lightheaded and feel nauseated out pf the blue sometimes. It happens mostly while I'm in a car but has happened while cleaning house too. I break out into a cold sweat and feel jittery on the inside but don't appear jittery on the outside. I never vomit though. Although I sometimes wish I could so I would feel some sort of relief. I also feel the need to eat. Like maybe it will help the queasiness go away but it never does. I've tested my blood sugar and blood pressure during these times and they both look normal. A friend suggested vertigo but I haven't seen the doctor about it yet. It's happened pretty much all my life but seems to have gotten worse since having my son 16 months ago. Any advice or info would be great. Usually the only way I can make it stop is by laying down for about an hour or so and closing my eyes. Thanks for your help

When I get peak vertigo attacks, my friends think Im on drugs. This breaks my heart. What should I do?
I have been trying to figure out why I have vertigo for the past six months. anwyay, my friends think Im on drugs. My attacks last anywhere from 4 hours to 10 days. I get dizziness, I cant walk straight, when my vertigo peaks I get slurred speech, etc, I am also a recovering alcoholic. Anyway. One of my friends said he called a doctor and the doctor told him slurred speech isnt a sign of vertigo. my friend was lying He didnt call, he want me to confess it. I called my neurologist and she thinks I am joking I said " my friend from aa thinks I am on drugs because of my slurred speech during my vertigo peaks" . She said " why doesn't he belive you? Are you joking? I don't need to tell him" Then he said he reseaerched online about slurred speech with vertigo and he was lying again He asked me to look it up and I ignored it. Then he said " I told you, you couldnt find it " within 1 minute i found it on wikipedia " vertigo peaks can cause sluured speech" . Why are my friends doing this to me? This vertigo has beem the hardest thing of my life other than my alcoholism. Why do they think Im on drugs? Ive been crying over this alot because they are my suppoert system How should I act? What should I do?
What happens when you have vertigo?
I know someone who has vertigo and is curently in the hospital. What happens to them? Whats the treatment? how will it affect them now and in the future? any inforamtion would be great
Memory/concentration problems, vertigo?
Hey guys. I've been having the following symptoms my memory has become really bad, often forgetting things as soon as they are said, loss of concentration especially when people are talking to me, so I'm often having to ask people to repeat things, occasional headaches followed by a starry halo sensation in the right corner of my right eye that makes it's way inwards until my peripheral vision is almost black, and feelings of semi vertigo where it feels like the inside of my brain is doing half spins, where it starts to spin clockwise, does half a turn, then starts over from the same point . Has anyone experienced any of these symptoms?? Does anyone know what could be wrong with me??I know many of you will tell me to go to the doctor, I've already made an appointment but I have to wait a week and want to know beforehand what some possibilities could be to discuss with the doctor. Thanks.
What medication can I take for vertigo while I am breastfeeding?
I've been dizzy for 6 weeks now, I also have some nausea. I've been to the dr and am now awaiting an appointment with an ENT. The dr said I might have BPPV. Tonight it has gotten worse. Can anyone tell me what over the counter medication I can take for this. I am breastfeeding my 2.5 month old son.Thanks
I have really bad vertigo?
I'm 16 a female and I have been eating and drinking water. I exercise occasionally I'm not overweight. I don't usually eat very much sugar but yesterday I had a lot but idk if I has anything to do with this. Last night I thought I was carsick but when I got out I couldn't walk or stand on my own and I was being pulled down strongly to the left side it felt like. I fell down and started throwing up. Everything was slowly spinning. My brother helped me inside and I went to the couch and started throwing up more. The next few hours I kept throwing up. It felt like I was diving backwards and the room was spinning at the same time. I took benadryl went to sleep woke up. I have to keep m head in a certain place or else everything goes super trippy and I throw up. I'm worried and I really think I need to go to the hospital or urgent care but my parents don't think its a big deal and I have a doctors appointment tonight. My mom thinks its just the same thing from like getting off of a roller coastedr. I can't stand up or put my head up or walk. My speech was studdered. Idk what to do. Could this be related to me having sleep paralysis the other day?? I'm scarded its something with my brain
Vertigo? World randomly starts spinning, eye sight feels at time blurry?
Ever since I was 13 or 14 don't remember exact age I have been experiencing brief lasting no longer than 30 seconds some times a full minute spells of vertigo. Up until yesterday i considered it dizzy spells but after research I have realized dizzy is feeling faint vertigo is spinning feeling which is what I have, out of nowhere I feel like the entire world is spinning. Like when you re a child and you extend your arms out and spin around until you fall then close your eyes and the world spins. That is exactly what happens to me. And i get extremely nauseated if I don't immediately close my eyes and lay down if i'm not already lying down . These spells are completely random I can be sitting watching tv laying down trying to go to sleep standing up and even driving my car that was scary when they first started my doctor did a MRI and found nothing so since then I haven't seen my doctor about them anymore. Well yesterday morning while driving I had one and it terrified me because I couldn't close my eyes and the queasy feeling turned into my eye sight hurting. Weird I don t know how to describe the eye pain it didn t really feel like I cut my finger pain it was more like eye strain pain. It was strange. After a lot of google and webMD that website is going to turn me into a hypochondriac I learned there are very few causes for long term vertigo so now I m terrified. Anyone else have these symptoms? Oh and completely unrelated or at least they don t happen at the same time I have heart palpations they started about 15 I haven t ever talked to my doctor about those I don t go to my doctor a lot unless I m sick or something but anyway heart palpations I feel like my heart skips a beat or two its terrifying because you feel like your heart has stopped and in a few seconds your going to be dead, then my heart starts beating again. They also happen anytime, usually I m lying down sitting up or walking, never that I notice running or while barrel racing when I get my heart rate up And I have noticed lately my eye sight gets blurry some times like looking at a computer or tv trying to read the guide. I some times think its because I read a lot on my kindle and on my phone So i look at a screen all the time. But still I figured I would list it too. SO has anyone else had these? Have you been diagnosed with anything? I m going to my doctor hopefully Friday so no answers saying go to the doctor lol oh and I m 18
