Do I have transient ischemic attacks?
Or something else?I'm a 22 year old female from arizona. The symptoms I've had are 1. Starts with feeling super weird in my body, like my arms are far away.2. Numbness that starts in my lips and moves to my hands, arms, feet and legs.3. My visions gets weird. Like chunk of things in my field of vision are pixilated really don't know how else to describe it and then, say I look at a square, I can only see one half of it, the corner 90 degree angle parts. It feels " fuzzy" and I just don't see right.4. I begin to hve trouble speaking then it will turn into not being able to form words and sentences at all. 5. I cry uncontrollably? 6. My heart begins racing, I can hear it loudly in my ears.7. I shake a lot. Like I can feel it in my back.8. I feel disconnected in my body, it feels ice cold when I touch it.These usually last about an hour. Sometimes less sometimes more. Its happened about six times in the past two and a half years. The first time I went to the er they said I was having a panic attack, so I never went back. I just feel like the symtoms aren't right. Can someone help me out?

Did I have a transient ischemic attack?
I woke up and could not move my right arm at all. It lasted about a minute and a half then came back for about 30 seconds and dissapeared. The avrg TIA lasts about a minute to 10 minutes. In my right eye I have been seeing a liitle aura, that comes and goes more and more often in the past 2 weeks. I went to the emergency room after my possible tia this morning and they reffered me to an eye doctor I know what an arm falling asleep feels like and it didnt feel like that. Plus it went away and came back in a minute. I'm 32 and healthy I think and they refused to consider it even though med lit is full of examples.

How can you reduce risk of a stroke after a transient ischemic attack?
I've had a TIA and aside from general aspects , there seems to be no active guidance on reducing risk bar asprin and lower cholestrol.

Can an unhealed knee injury lead to a transient ischemic attack?

Transient ischemic attack?
My nana just had one so we think.I am u north and she was vacationing in FL with my mother and she felt numbness in her tongue and the left side of her face went a little limp.My mom took her to the ER and they did a bunch of tests and found nothing So there is no damage that we know of and the doc thinks that it was a TIA.If in fact this was a TIA is it certain that she will have a stroke in the future? She is 86 and she lives alone. She is otherwise very healthy and very strong she can still run full speed at 86 .Does this mean she is going to need someone to live with her now just to be on the lookout for stroke symptoms? Id hate to take away her independence but she is very stubborn and most likely would not call 911 if she started showing signs.

TIA (Transient ischemic attack)?
Does TIA Transient ischemic attack cause temporary memory loss on sudden things like names and alphabet.? If so how long does this normally take to come around.?

Transient ischemic attack?
Ok ive had a tia recently my bp ranges from 180 120 192 124 , cholestral is at 6.9mols with fatty liver disease from an inflammed liver. What are my risk factors towards suffering another TIA and how can i prevent this happening again, bmi is stable and i am a good weight and work out quite alot.I was just given Rampiral 10mg to control my bp, it goes down a little but on a recent reading it was 200 128 i think and the doctor had to go and consult another doctor but i have to go for a liver biopsy soon and a hypertension specialist. I feel weak and dizzy all the time and confused and my memory is shot to hell i cant remember last week very clearly.

A question about a TIA (Transient ischemic attack)?
I have a question about a TIA Transient ischemic attack . Do they always show up on CT scans once you get to the hospital and do you always show signs of a droopy face or droopy eyes? I went to the ER this weekend, I called the nursing hotline of my insurance company because my symptoms progressed over the day. I started out having just a headache that went away. Well, then my symptoms were my nomal pains that I usually have back and leg pain however, I ended up having severe neck pain that came with facial numbness tingling where I could hardly move my mouth or facial muscles and I was drooling. Then the pain traveled to my eye. The pain was on only one side of my neck. The pain was a 10. The nurse told me as I was in tears to go to the ER and either call 911 or have someone drive me. I went and they took their sweet time as I was the only one in there and they after awhile did a quick CT scan that did not show anything abnormal they said. So they passed it off as a migraine or some different variation of my normal headaches. Now, where I live, the ER Hospital is probably the worst one anyone could go to, but it is the closest one. They are all the time misdiagnosing people. I am sure they are right on the money most of the time though, but I just wondered about them symptoms of the TIA. The nurse on the line acted like I could be having a stroke. I am 35 years of age and the physicians assistant at the hospital said I am too young to have a stroke, so that was out of the question. I thought a person could have a stroke at any age. I had an uncle who did in his 30's as I just found out. I remember a kid I went to school with who had one in his teen years. So why is it out of question?
