okay, well i already made a post but whatever, never got answered. and i need to know, do i have tss? my symptoms started about 4 days ago, near the end of my period. i started to get a minor sunburnish thing on my shoulder as my first symptom, and i thought it was a little weird, considering i live in canada and i haven't been outside much lately. also, i get a little light headed when i stand up, and like... i have to lie down for it to go away. i stayed home from school today, cause i was super tired, i mean... that makes sense, cause i was up really late over the easter break having sleepovers.. but i slept all day and im still tired. i thought i had diarrhea, but i guess not. this morning, when i woke up, the sole of my foot was peeling a bit.. but maybe its just because theyre dry? i dont know but they don't usually peel.. i hvent thrown up yet, nor do i feel like i have to.. soo i guess my main question would be, do you necessarily throw up every single time you have tss? does it sound like i have tss? i told my mom, but she says im jusst over reacting, maybe i am... but i just wanted to check if this sounds bad? i dont feel very sick, just tired, maybe its all just in my head. during my period, i wore a tampon maybe... three times? i cant remember whether i left it in over 8 hours or not, and i wore a regular absorbancy tampax and one o.b. like.. the kind without the applicator.. PLEASE HELP

What causes it? How do you know if you have it? How do you get rid of it? Pretty much just tell me everything you know about it...

I have a fever and my throat hurts along with those things on your neck that swell up and hurt when youre sick idk what theyre called. this is the second day ive been like this could i have TSS? I also cough a lot.

I have my period right now and I think I left a tampon in. When I got home a few hours ago, I felt like I had a cold and now I have a fever. My heart is beating really hard, I can feel my pulse all over my body. I'm having pains in my muscles and nerves. My sinuses are killing me. When I sit up I feel light headed. I have chest pains when I breath deeply. I can't stop sneezing and my bones are making crunching noises when I move. Do I have TSS or just a cold? Someone please help me.

Should I be concerned that I could have toxic shock syndrome if i left a tampon in for over 12 hrs?
I spent the day at a wave pool so i put a new tampon in at the start of the day. I left it in continuing into the night and forgot about it because i was partying. I ended up going to sleep with it in and in the morning i realized my mistake. i read up a little on tss and dont have any of the symptoms but i dont feel normal if that makes any sense. I can't describe the feeling but i just don't think its normal
Could I get toxic shock syndrome?
I tried putting a tampon in today for the first time. I only left it in for about a minute before I got a bit freaked out and pulled it out haha. I didn't feel any discomfort, but I'm really worried that I might get TSS or toxic shock syndrome. Do you think there's a big chance I could get it?

Why did I lose vision? First time trying tampon. Hurt. Was in for about 10 minutes. Took it out. Went have a shower and put my finger in to see where to put the tampon. shower was all steamy, maybe that was why? . I started to lose vision a bit this has hapened after cervical cancer injections for me and then when it got all black i had to lie down to get vision back. I haven't been eating iron or protein much, I've been mostly on a weet bix diet to lose weight. im 13 years old. Could i have TSS? it wasnt even in for an hour

So last night I put a tampon in before I showered. after that I forgot to take it out for bed so I slept with it in..altogether around 10 hours. When I took it out in the morning it wasn't full saturated just 1 3 . Also when I woke up, I had a slight headache and was really hot for a few miniutes. Now I keep feeling tired and getting chills and my headache is still going on. Could this just be the flu? My nose and throat was hurting about 5 days ago but it stopped. Also, if I do have TSS what do I do? Can I just stay in bed and wait for it to disappear because it's really hard for me to go to a doctor. Thanks

I know that if you have a tampon in for a certain amount of time you might get this, but how exactly does it work and what is it??

I have recently been feeling sick right after the end of my period. During my period I accidentally left a tampon in for longer than I should have, simply because I didn't bleed through my tampon. I have now come down with a fever. I have a headache and a sore throat I was coughing all night . I don't have a sunburn like rash, or any nausea. I also haven't vomited... But I am just very nervous and anxious that I have toxic shock. I think It is mostly just because I left my tampon in for close to 16 hours. My mom told me that I am just worrying too much, but I think it is okay to worry because this is a serious and deadly thing But anyways, do you guys think that I have toxic shock syndrome or just a virus? I also have chills btw . ThanksOk I have a red blotchy rash type things on my chest. I have recently been putting retinA on my chest so I am pretty sure that is what that is from, but what if it is a TSS rash?????
Scared I have toxic shock syndrome?
So I'm scared I have toxic shock syndrome. I was really drunk and don't ever remember changing my tampon and when I sobered up at night I pulled out two...but I don't remember how many times I did that and am worried there might be a third tampon up there. I tried to feel and didn't find anything but I didn't feel that far up. Is it possible to get three tampons in there?

NOTE sorry for misspellying but im on my ipod touch Ok this is pretty awkward but I need to know what to do or if I have it. I started my PD period on thursday and it's really light this time there's barely anything on the torpedo tampon when I took them out and and I'm using a lite torpedo and leaving it on for like 3 5 hours but yesterday after church it was a little heaverr so I put in a regular torpedo but then me and my family went to a friends house and i couldn't change it I had it in between about 1 20 10 40 and it wasn't even half full and I was a little worried but I just went to bed and I woke up FREZZEING and alittle dizzy with a tiny head ach I was in a t shirt and shorts for moat of the day even tho I was cold then like 6 hours later I put on a pull over hoodie yoga pants gloves a hat and socks and Im in my bed now with a comfeder 2 fuzzy " trow" blankets and a knittend " throw" blanket and I'm a TINY bit warmer but i feel like a Tiny bit sweaty I guess I'm also getting 1 sec hot flashes and some chills and I had a little chest pain by my heart but not alot and I'm still dizzy with a little head ach and I'm twitching a little bit and I some times a really bigish head ach with a little blurry vision but I'm wearing really old contacts and I think I covered everything I think and sorry this is soo long but I have OCD and ainxety problems and If tmi was a real diagoseis I would have it but please I need help
