Do I need to get a tetanus shot?
Seven days ago I cut my finger on a soup can but it was very little cut and a bandage did the trick as there was not much bleeding. Only wiped it with a kleenex. It was on my finger close to the knuckle. Last time I got a tetanus shot was twelve years ago. So do I need to get another one now??
Am i ok with the vaccination of tetanus? Because i might am infected..?
Yesterday evening i was walking with my friends on a closed bridge, because it was quiet. But suddenly i stepped on a rusty nail which went through my foot and my sock and it did to me a very little wound. It's just a spot which had a very little amount of blood but it had some...I am 15 and i got vaccinated at 2005.. 7 years ago Am i allright or should i see a doctor?

i was working in my shed in the backyard and i scraped my hand on a rusty nailit only scraped off a bit of skin and there was no blood, also i don t remember when i last got a tetanus shot, maybe like 5 years ago

kind of gross details below yesterday, a dog bit me. the skin broke not completely though kind of a flap . i got the bleeding to stop, then put neosporin and a bandaid on it. later that night, my finger got caught on something and the little skin flap, broke off and it started to bleed again. followed the same steps as before neosporin, bandaid .today, there was a little bit of puss but it doesn't look like there is anymore. it hurts, but i expected that. anyway, it got me to googling dog bites and i came across the info that anyone that has been bitten by a dog should get a tetanus, if you haven't had one in 5 years. it's too late to call my doctor...should i go to an immediate care or will i be fine until tomorrow? do you think i really need to get a tetanus or is it unnecessary? tia okay, thanks that's what i was thinking too
Rust poisoning? tetanus? what?
Saturday a week ago, i cut my arm on some metal with a little rust on it. i sqweezed the blood out, to wash anything away, 2 days later, it started getting red and inflamed. I cleaned it with alchohol, and put a bandaid. It started getting pustules, so i broke them. it started looking better, but today, the pustules are back, very sore and inflamed again, and it itches. I feel depressed, tired, nausiated, and the back of my neck hurts. i had a tetanus shot when i was 15, and i am now 20. any answers?

So I had a tetanus shot for a whole health form that has to be completed for my paramedic class. I've had tetanus shots in the past and remember feeling an achy feeling in my arm for a day or so. this time, i feel nothing. should i be concerned that the shot was not administered properly or what?? i know that anyone who has ever had a tetanus knows the pain associated with the med. thanks for your answers RR...ummm there was no literature given. i already know the side effects thank you...did you not read my question?

Should i go to a hospital to get a serum? I'm a little afraid... Also, wound the wound seem different infected ? Because it doesn't
Is it just the reaction to the polio, tetanus and diphtheria jab?
I had been having headaches for a few days which I don't normally have then on wednesday, I had my polio, tetanus and diphtheria booster jab at school and I was fine. Then yesterday, all day my head felt heavy, I felt like my head was a brick sliding around, I felt sick and that I could just collapse, my body felt weak and I was really tired. Soon as I got home from school, I fell asleep, woke up for tea then straight back to sleep. Today I woke up feeling exactly the same with a stiff neck, sore throat and a few spots on my chest. Is that just a reaction to the jab?

Swelling after Tetanus shot?
I'm 15 and I just had my Tetanus shot on Wednesday 2 5 2012 . I just realized that today, my left shoulder muscle started to swell up. I hit my friend that had tetanus shot as well. And some punch me instead on the left shoulder muscle. So is it because they punched my hand and caused the swelling or is it because of the Tetanus shot? IS it normal? I heard from some people that some can die from the effects. Is it true? o 0? Please help.
