Why is there a patch of hair in spina bifida occulta?
I have spina bifida and i also have tendinitis in my feet. my back and my neck always hurts.?
and if i walk for a while my legs begin to hurt and it goes all the way up my legs. my knees get swollen and hard to bend. what is wrong with me? what do i do?
Would love some help right now from anyone but preferably doctors and people with spina bifida please!?
im 17 have sb and have 3rd tethered cord and right in middle of previous detethering surgery scar on very lower back is killing me i cant seem to be able to sit or even barely touch it without it hurting bad as i said this is 3rd one and ive never had this before.should this happen or should i call doc? and btw my tethering is severe and going to front and im getting detethering in two weeks thanks for any help
A chiropractor told me i have spina bifida. i need someone with knowledge to help me?
about two years ago a chiropractor told me i have spina bifida after taking some x rays of my back and that i have had it since birth. now the way he described it, it is some of my lower vertibrea fused to my tail bone. my symptoms apart from the fused vertibrea lower back pain which is constant, i'm 10mm shorter on my left side of my body due to this problem, and i have a fair bit weakness in my left leg compared to my right leg. AND if anyone is going to suggest seeing a chiropractor regularly for treatment, DONT. i seen one for 3 months and it only made it WORSE, the pain was worse and i actually had more trouble moving around on a day to day basis from it. What i want to know is, is there anything i can do to correct this? i was told i could possibly get surgery done to un fuse the vertibrea but it may be harder to get done otherwise i just have to deal with it myself. Does anyone have any information or valid suggestions i could try do?PLEASE ONLY people that know what their talking about need answer.Thank you

Why does my left knee hurt so badly? i have spina bifida please read below:)?
i'm 17 and i don't hurt till i start walking,i've always hurt in my knees,but not this bad,my left knee is the worst it's where i can't even lift my left leg no more hardly and i've asked my docs about it and they won't listen and i can't change docs what do you think i can do to ease my pain as much as possible?plus i'm overweight but i've stayed about the same for about a year now and it's only been hurting like this for around 2 months?please help,thanks in advance any answers will be greatly appreciated yes i do have tethered cord,i was afraid of that and also does anyone know if having trouble swallowing suddenly have anything to do with the tethered cord?

Can any1 tell me why when my spina bifida pain acts up, i (i'm serious) get involuntary erection?
the pain is like small electrocution in the spine nerves. and the erection is NOT voluntary, and it's frustrating. my docs can't give me answers.

I was born with spina bifida im 16years old and at the time they didnt have any surgery to fix it but i heard there is something now. Can Spina Bifida Symptoms show up later in life?
Hi,I was diagnosed at birth with Spina Bifida Myelomeningocele, and had surgery shortly after to reduce the myelomeningocele. There weren't any complications or symptoms afterwards. I grew up without any complications and was physically active. I'm now a 19 y o male and for the past year or so I've had an increasing issue with urinary leaking after urinating. Is it possible that this could be related to my spina bifida? I understand that this could be from a handful of issues, but I've read that this can be caused by spina bifida.Thank you for any help
