Can sleep apnea cause acne?
I've been dealing with acne for the past probably 3 4 years and just recently was diagnosed with sleep apnea. Nothing else has really worked for my acne so I'm wondering if a cpap machine for apnea may also help acne? Any relation? I do ALWAYS feel tired and somewhat depressed? And was told sleep apnea could cause this, I always blamed the depressed feeling on acne
Can untreated sleep apnea be dangerous?
I think I have sleep apnea, but never get the time to see doctor because of such busy life. As you maybe aware, doctors work 8 to 4 and that's my job time. They are never available during evening or weekend. Due to this, I have not been able to connect with them. The reason i feel i have apnea is because i do experience difficulty breathing while going to sleep and when i wake up I am still tired and require several naps a day to get byi don't get leave from work. And if I don't report to work, I am fired pronto. Even if I claim I am sick, the next day I am gone

Depressed, anxious and sleep apnea! Why wont he do anything about it?
Whenever I tell him about his sleep apnea he just shrugs it off or laughs. I try to tell him he's not getting proper sleep and that is why he is so tired all the time but he just laughs and says " yeah right. There's nothing wrong with my sleep" But I sleep next to him... I lay awake worrying about him as he sleeps. It's so scary and noisy to watch him struggle for air.Of course, because he is always tired it makes his depression and anxiety worse and it's really taking a toll on our relationship because he is always so damn moody. It's hard to know what to expect with him. I want him to do something about it but, he refuses to because he doesn't believe that there is even a problem And yes, he knows he has sleep apnea but, does not think it is a problem.
Knee pain, fatigue, sleep apnea, depression...Only answer if you have an answer?
At 14 I started getting terrible pain in my knee once a month when I would get my period. It started happening more frequently. I got tested for pinched nerve since there was some tingling numbness with pain. No pinched nerve. I was tested for rheumatoid arthritis, lymes disease and lupus, all negative. All drs could tell me was that they think it was bc my knee's hyperextend. So I dealt with the occasional pain. It started happening more and more frequent, only in my knees. When I got pregnant at 18 it was contant knee pain, the pain never went away after I gave birth. I was always in a level 3 4 of pain with days of 7 10 pain. 2 years ago I went to an orthopedic, he did an xray, no mri, and agreed it was bc my knees hyperextend, and put my on physical therapy for 2 months. This made the pain worse so I stopped. Any knee braces I would wear usually worsened the pain. Two months ago my pain skyrocketed for no reason. I have been limping on both sides for a little over two months, in excrusciating pain. The pain is usally a steady 4 5 but when I stand or walk longer than 10 min it jumps to a 9. Went to ortho, got an x ray and mri. Mri report says slight tear in left miniscus, both knees have some inflammation, the ortho agrees does a cortyosone shot in left knee and wants to do P.T. I go to a different ortho, he says he sees no tear, the cartilege looks fine and my knees look fine. I am currently in excrusciating pain about an 8, sitting down. My manager just put me on medical leave since I can hardly stand from the pain. I was bit by a deer tick at 8 but lyme test was negative, however there can be false negatives.Other symptoms that may or may not be related asthma, extreme shortness of breath just walking upstairs once , tiredness, sleep apnea, memory loss, depression, mood swings, feeling faint especially if stands up quickly, or looking up , random numbness in back, back pain, fatigue, unable to think of a word, extreme sensitivities to cigarette smoke, extreme sensitivities to certain noises like loud car motor or train tracks.Weakness, anger issues Knee pain varies sometime it is a hot scraping exploding feeling on kneecap, other times it is that only cold, and other times it is achey.possible diseases Lyme diseaseChronic fatigue immune dysfunction syndromeReflexive sympathetic dystrophyarthritisfibromyalgiaany others????

What is sleep apnea and do I have it?
Last night I shot straight up in a full blown panic because I couldn't breathe. After about a second or two eventhough it felt much longer than that , I coughed and gasped and got back my air. It happened twice and the last one really freaked me out and I couldn't get back to sleep. It literally felt like holding your breath or some covering your mouth. Legit I had no air for a second. I have allergies, but not severe. I have anxiety issues too. I'm five foot one female and I'm not over weight or anything. I'm eighteen years old. So I wanna know if that was my allergies or anxiety getting to me, or if it was some sort of sleep apnea which I've been googling .
