Should I still be worried about rhabdomyolysis?
I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago with rhabdo for 4 days and was treated with iv fluids to flush my kidneys. When I went in my levels were at 20,000 they released me at 1700. they told me normal was between 100 and 200 and I think the level they were monitoring was cpk or something like that they didn't tell me to follow up with anyone just to keep drinking water and quit taking pristiq which my psychiatrist disagreed with so I've still been taking it . Should I still be going to doctors to get my levels checked and such ? And is it something I still need to be careful with ? do I need to watch my alcohol intake or anything like that ? thanks.
Can lack of exercise or lack of much walking cause rhabdomyolysis? Can it be improved thru more walking?

Diagnosis of rhabdomyolysis? Wrong diagnosis?
So I'm 15, and I was diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis and I don't think this is all adding up right. I'm at the hospital and all my lab results came back normal except my cf's and ldh's I think it's called , but the odd thing is I don't have any symptoms besides brown urine for 1 day. I had an chest xray, liver ultrasound, kidney ultrasound, bladder ultrasound, and a 12 lead EKG and all normal. I feel healthy as can be and felt that way since I've been here. My grandpa thought I was faking it because everything was perfectly normal. They found blood in my urine but no red blood cells and my cf's were at 500,000 First, isn't that a little high even for rhabdomyolysis? And I haven't done anything on the list that can cause this. All my muscles are fine, no pain. I'm at the hospital and have iv fluids, but the renal and g.i. doctors refuse to see me, which is odd because they need to figure out what's causing this so I'll be aware of it. I haven't been taking any supplements, nothing unusual, and the only symptom I had was the brownish red urine for like a day. My attending doctor can't figure out why this is happening, but does anyone know? I know it's sort off odd for me to ask something like this on y a but I really want to know. Any suggestions for my doctor? Thanks

My boyfriend and his dad have rhabdomylysis. It is a inherited disease. I have read many things on the internet and I quite cant get any specific treatment options. I know its depending on alot of different factors that caused the disease. Can anyone tell me what can be done specifically? I would really appreciate it cause I love my boyfriend very much and I wanna try and get him and his dad help. He can't get to the internet and search what to do. He does wanna get treatment for this disease too. I'm sorry i forgot to add my bf takes meds for high cholestrol and asthma inhaler. he used to take high blood pressure pills but he stopped them because they were making him like a zombie . Is it possible that his cholestrol pills are harming his muscles? He is on a very restrictive diet for salt and cholestrol intake to help keep it down. The only problem is he inherited all of this from his dad. My boyfriend doesn't eat fried foods or anything really bad. He eats very healthy. The medicine he takes is colestipal. Any studies that say that harms msucles?
