I have really severe prickly heat, what can i do?
I have had prickly heat for around 3 years. I first noticed it when I was on work experience at school which was about year 10..I am now in my 2nd year of college I have looked at many questions and answers on here and none seem to be the same as what i have. I have to sleep with no quilt because otherwise I will get a heat glow feeling then followed up by an intense itching which doesn't seem to go away for about 5 minutes. Even when I have a shower sometimes the same things happen. I remember one time I went shopping with my girlfriend and I was getting annoyed because she was taking me around loads of women shops and even that made me itch due to the fact I was just simply angry annoyed. Reading up on other people's questions that doesn't seem normal. I also can't play football or just any sports what so ever because I get an intense itch. I have also found when I go on runs the itch doesn't occur until I stop and start walking. I have tried magicool, 7 8 different per scripted medicines from the doctors and none have worked. I really want to go on holiday this year but if I itch like mad when it's just a normal day in England then it's going to be very bad in a genially hot place. i'd also like to add i'm 17, normal height normal weight for my age but sweat ALOT and by that I mean walk to the shops and i'm sweating. Personally I think the reason for that is because of my prickly heat, because my sweat glands are blocked on my back and arms so it just pours out of my armpits. But i'm not a doctor so really don't know. Any help would be appreciated Thanks.

What can i do to stop getting prickly heat?
I'm going on holiday to Turkey in a few weeks and wondered if anybody knows how to stop prickly heat? I get it mainly on the top of my legs and my arms and it doesnt itch, its a " prickly" sensation and it can get really painful. It happens when i am out in the sun and also at night after spending time in the sun.I always apply suncream and i can still get it if i am sat in the shade. I would appreciate it if someone could please tell me anything i can take which will stop it. Thankyou
Bumpy skin from heat rash or prickly heat. Please help me, I need the top secret remedies for my heat rash.?
I am 23 and have suffered from heat rash almost every summer since I was 13. I get the small white bumps and red skin, mainly on my arms and chest, but if I'm in the sun for a whole day it can even spread to my legs, feet and upper back. I know about and have tried almost every remedy you can find online, and what my doctor has told me to do. I apply SPF 70, oil free sunblock multiple times a day. After sun exposure I still feel burning and itching. I immidiately take a cold bath with baking soda AND ground up oatmeal, after I pat dry I use a cloth to apply vinegar on my skin which helps soo much and then I put on either dry baking soda, goldbond, or babypower with cornstarch. If I am still uncomfortable then I will also use cold compresses, but this routine almost always gives me 100 % relief, ready to go out in the sun the next day. BUT I still have many many many of the white bumps on my arms and chest. Even this past winter when I haden't been in the sun much at all and wasn't having any burning or itching the white bumps did not go away. Is there a remedy to get rid of the bumps caused by heat rash, not just to treat the uncomfort. I am very self conscious about having bumpy skin on my arms and chest. Please help me
Treating prickly heat rash?
I'm 15 and this just started last year. Usually it went away after awhile but I want to get rid of it for good. I can't sleep comfortably, playing outdoor sports like lacrosse makes it even worse. I wear loose fitting clothing an XL T shirt and shorts . I don't know if heat rashes are supposed to last this long if left unattended. I heard that baby cornstarch powder works great for infants and kids up to about age 12 but I don't know if it'll work for me. Since I have prickly heat rash, will it be a pest for the rest of my life or will the powder make it go away permanently?

Okay, I don't know if it called prickly heat or something else but its not acne for sure. It is some kind of prickly heat or something else which happens on my both upper arms above elbow and its permanent. Its not painful or burning though. Sometimes it becomes less but don't disappear fully. I am 30 year old female and insulin resistant and have hypothyroid. What is the best suncream to use for prickly heat?
I normally use Piz Buin oil free sun cream, and it has helped it slightly but i still suffer from prickly heat for a few days. Which other sun creams could i try out, and what other tips do you have?I'd be very grateful of your help. Thankyou.

Magicool prickly heat spray?
I went away last year and having suffered very badly before from prickly heat I tried this magicool prickly heat spray. It worked fantastic and I bought a few more bottles in case I couldn't find it again.I'm now going away on Thursday and assumed I had a few bottles but from moving house I cannot find them anywhere . Rang all the supermarkets and they don't stock them yet so I was just wondering if anyone had spotted it anywhere recently?Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Ellie.Is there Kmarts in the UK?
