I have a severe cold, sore throat, headache, dizzyness and have been off school ill for two days and I read somewhere that your not meant to have a jab when your ill, and I have a jab tomorrow, do I have the jab or wait till I'm better?

I had been having headaches for a few days which I don't normally have then on wednesday, I had my polio, tetanus and diphtheria booster jab at school and I was fine. Then yesterday, all day my head felt heavy, I felt like my head was a brick sliding around, I felt sick and that I could just collapse, my body felt weak and I was really tired. Soon as I got home from school, I fell asleep, woke up for tea then straight back to sleep. Today I woke up feeling exactly the same with a stiff neck, sore throat and a few spots on my chest. Is that just a reaction to the jab?

If polio was already on a steep decline in the mid 20th century before the introduction of vaccines, why does everyone go around repeating this myth that the vaccine saved us from the polio epidemic?
