So my boyfriend just called me and let me know that his grandpa is in the hospital with pneumonia in critical condition. His grandpa is already sick and lives in a nursing home, has dementia and I was just wondering what to expect? Is this something he can get through or I guess how bad is it? I know what critical condition means just trying to figure it all out. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of other information about it yet.

About 2months ago I got sick I was down for two weeks an I thought it was just the common cold. But I notice that this " cold" was different then before. like my chest would hurt to breath, I will get out of breath by just taking a few steps, major headaches and I will get chills I was like this for about a week or two... Then one mornin my mom told me what wrong with me she said " u look like if ur literly dying" so she took my temp it was like 106.0 we went to my doctor an he gave me an antibiotic shot... But then my sholder an part of my cheat an back started to hurt like a stabbing sensation we got home I couldnt stand it anymore so my mom took me to the emergency room.. I got their an dey told me it was pneumonia an da specialist came in an gave me a liquid med through the oxygen thingy...i was released with medication to take....now its been over 2months since I had it...for some reason at times I feel like aa stabbing sensation in my chest or on my upper back aan my sides also like at times I also feel like pressure as if someone is setting in my cheast an also my back hurts every now an then. So can this all be related to the aftermath of pneumonia?

My lil guy has pneumonia in his left lung, no fever now. I took him in on Monday only to have to go back on Wednesday and here it is Thursday and I am back in his PD office. Dr said he def has pneumonia and would like to keep him out patient. Has anyone ever had an infant with pneumonia who was not hospitalized? His fever is gone and his breathing is not that bad. However, I know that people die from them all the time. Please anyone been in this situation with a great outcome?

So for the past few days id say about a week now ive been feeling very out of breathe and weak i have pain in my back close to lungs and it hurts when i breathe in and out.. i do get the chills and head aches and my coughing is pretty bad when i cough i cough until i gag. and when i do cough up flem it is yellowish greannish and can taste like blood after coughing.. wht do you guys think?
After Curing Pneumonia how can I increase my stamina whithout triggering this illness again.?
Hi One year before I cured my pneumonia illness and till now I have pneumonia after effects. I have too low stamina and I am not able to run not fast walking without getting again the problem I had while I had pneumonia. I can't breathe normal and I am getting too tired easily. I can't run more than 1 minute without this stupid effect but I can still run . I am always afraid of getting pneumonia again back I really don't care anymore I want to be able to run and fight cause I always liked to practice on martial arts alone in my home and I never got tired but now I am getting tired just for puncing the air and last to be able to sing as I did that's why I decided to do something to become health again and my thought gone to jogging and cycling. I tried cycling in the hardest mode so that I could also gain some muscle power on my legs for 2 3 hours for 1 week but I haven't felt any different on my stamina yet. I want to try jogging and near in my house is a stadium where other people go as well for I guess the same reason but I don't really know if this is good cause with cycling I haven't got too tired after 2 hours or felt any pneumonia after effect but I am not sure if with jogging will be the same. So can anyone give me an advice? I also tried to " jog" in my house without using a machine just jogging without going forward back left etc. I don't know if this can help but I enjoyed it cause while I was doing it I was watching a show. I did that for more than 2 3 times and I always after this usually 23 minutes without stopping I didn't had any more effect than getting tired but I don't know if it actually helps. And I also want to ask if I can cure the after effects then be like I had never have pneumonia. I also read that having pneumonia in an early year I am 17 so I was 16 back then descreases the living time as well as making me extra affected by all illness even to the point of getting killed Is it true? Can I prevent that like I asked before curing this after effect if of course is true.
