Plantar Fasciitis
plantar fasciitis Information
Can plantar fasciitis be cured through chiropractic?
Best shoe for plantar fasciitis?
I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis on and off for the past 6 7 years. It's flared up in the last month or so and its pretty bad this time around. I've had custom orthotics in the past from Foot Solutions they told me I had the highest arch they have ever seen and those lasted about 6 months. I've been through several pair of those, I am no longer giving Foot Solutions my business, I had a HORRIBLE experience and I'll be willing to share that story with anyone who wants to hear it I'm currently using orthotics from Good Feet. I normally wear the 600 series of New Balance shoes 608, 623, etc I work in retail and I'm on my feet anywhere from 9 11 hours a day. I know New Balance aren't the best shoe out there, I usually go through a pair every 6 months or so. I do have big feet size 16 4E in New Balance I just wanted any suggestions on a good, supportive, shoe. I've been told any shoe with a steel shank would be a good choice. Any suggestions?
If my horrible foot pain is not plantar fasciitis...what could it be?
I had an Xray last Friday & waiting on result prob won't get 'til Tues ...it hurts mostly in heel, but kinda tingly & burning, shooting pains all over. I would like to research anything else it may be. I can barely walk & the anti inflammatories do not help the pain
I think I have plantar fasciitis? How do I get rid of the pain?!?!?! PLEASE HELP!!! PLEASE ANSWER!!!!!?
I'm 14 and today, I came home from school, and just as I got towards the top of the stairs, I felt pain on the sole of my right foot. This is very unusual for me and I took off my shoes, which are the same ones I wear to PE and I scanned the sole of my foot. At first there wasn't much, but then I felt a small bump, and that's where the pain was. And this was the first day I had the pain. I told my mom about the pain and she said it was " Plantar Fasciitis." I looked it up and the symptoms are the same as what I have. They gave some treatment options but it doesn't say how long it takes to take away the pain and it wasn't very descriptive. Please, what do you do to get rid of it, and how long will it take for it to go away? PLEASE, this pain isn't very bad in general but I can't go through my life with it,, especially in PE We run a lap around this horrible, uneven, uncomfortable, hard, dirt track that hurts my feet in general, and I'll never be able to run like that or do the activities for PE afterward. I have a 3 week vacation for Christmas before I go back to school, is it possible to get rid of this pain by then? PLEASE HELP ME I walk kind of strangely, like mainly on my heels and on my toes, just out of habit and I've felt a little bit of this pain as I walk, but it doesn't usually last. Would putting my feet in a sole pad or whatever that thing is, still bring me pain? Will Advil or spmething numb the pain until the pressure in the area is released?
Do I have plantar fasciitis? Or a rupture?

I just want to know if this could be a possibility or if there is anything else that it could be.So my questions are... Does this sound like plantar fasciitis? Is there any other possibilities like a tendon rupture? How serious does this sound? Should I push for the doctor's appointment to be within the next week?I do have this on my iPhone so if any of you answerers need any additional information I will surely reply and update so you must too so I'm not left hanging.Thank you so much for helping me out. I just. We'd some general guidance.I don't remember exactly where my foot was swollen but I'm 100 % sure that it was the arch. The arch on the inside side big toe side between the ball of my foot and the heel. It was swollen 24 7 for about 2 weeks and then it seemed to go away. My foot is swelling in the same place again now but is only affected when it is rested or elevated.
What are the alternatives to ibuprofen and steroid injections when treating plantar fasciitis?
I suffer from plantar fasciitis which causes a lot of pain in my feet. Currently I am taking 500mg of ibuprofen three times a day. It helps but it's treatment of the symptoms, not the underlying problem. My doctor has suggested getting steroid injections in my feet but I'm told that there are a few risks to this. Anybody know of any alternatives?
Help diagnose and treat plantar fasciitis please?
I hurt my foot this summer and orthapedic inserts are helping but I want to make sure this doesn't go chronic so I'm looking for physical therapy advice. Would it help define treatment for me to figure out exactly which tendon I've damaged? If so could I use biomechanics to narrow it down based on where how it hurts? Besides making walking comfortable what should I do to treat? there isn't swelling so I assume heat increased blood flow would be positive, is there a point at which I should be stretching? would massage be helpful? acupuncture? thanks for considering, I'll raise a beer to the best answerer D
