I think I have ovarian cancer. What is the best way to talk to my dr?
I have been very sick since Sept. 2011. My doctors haven't been able to provide a diagnosis. Recently I was reading an article about ovarian cancer. This covers all of my symptoms, even those my doctor said weren't related. I have every symptom that the article listed.

I though it was common sense I didn't have to include going to a doctor in the question,but I guess in commonsense's case, this person believes no one has common sense
Does ovarian cancer effect fertility?
and if it does effect fertility can you list how. Like if it's cancer in the egg producing cells then no egg can mature or something? I couldn't find out how it effects fertility through the net so i'm trying here. All i got was that the cancer treatments like surgery, radiation therapy affects fertility.Thanks
I might have ovarian cancer.Help?
So im 20 years old and my gyno thinks i might have ovarian cancer.She sent me to get tested and all.But im very scared.I dont want to tell my parents just yet because i dont want to alarm them specially since they live in another country,im praying that its just something else,still im scared and idk should i tell my boyfriend ??? Should he know ??? or should i just keep it a secret...i dont know what to do ..help.

Well lately I've been having strange symptoms as follows x have to pee all the time x hurts to have sex x my stomach is always bloated. i look like a watermelon on toothpicks even though im an athletic trainer x i get abdominal pain sometimes x exercise is difficult for me cause of cramps sometimesI've also been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism for four years now, and everyone on my mom's side of the family has breast cancer
I have severe PCO, it remains untreated. Am I at increased risk of ovarian cancer?

I am 31 yrs old. I was feeling right pelvic pain with low back pain that was going down my right leg. I went to see a GP and she said it is sciatica and gave me medrol dose pack. In the mean time I went to see obgyn and during ultrasound he said I have ovarian cyst on my right ovary but my uterus looked normal. He also said that my right ovary was enlarged. And could not find my left ovary. So weird, I have never had any issues before with other obgyn exams. I am not sure if it was just easier for him he sent me to do a blood test CA125 without any explanation. I am terrified. I read so many different things about this test and that it's usually required for ladies with family cancer history or post menstrual. My period has been normal. Except this last time it prolonged for 2 days with very light brown spotting.. Is it cancer?? Please help I have one week to wait for the CA125 results..
What is survival rates/prognosis for ovarian cancer spread to liver?
my mother in law just has surgery and was found to have ovarian cancer that has spread to the liver. she had a six and a half hour surgery yesterday, lost a lot of blood gave her a transfusion and is now recovering slowly. I am worried because they said she still has still 20 % of cancer tissue in the liver. she will be doing chemo for this. This is new to us and doctors don't say much, what are her survival rates? we are paying for the best.We are overseas..that's why we are asking here.
Do I have ovarian cancer? Should I be alarmed?
I have been having bad pains in my left abdomen. I can't really lift anything heavy. I was pregnant with my son when a cyst on my ovary was discovered, they doctors told me that it was common, and in most cases it just dissolves. I had the Mirena put in after the birth of my son. About 6 months after having it, it took it out myself. I was having trouble emptying my bladder, in which I still am, it's just a little better. I still havent gotten my period after taking it out. It's been about 3 months. My breasts hurt, and sometimes my kidneys i think its my kidneys . I have just started to lose sleep, not because I am worried, just I cannot sleep. I know I should go see a doctor. I would assume I would need to go see an OBGYN. I know I am not pregnant, although sometimes I feel as if I am. I have taken 3 pregnancy tests. I have also had on and off constipation. Its been worse latley. I was just feeling my abdomen just to see if I press on it if it hurts worse and I feel a very hard area on both sides. With my son I had an emergency c section, so cuold the hardness be from that? I am lost and scared, I need some advice.
Why would somebody after undergoing ovarian cancer have a ventilator?
My mother in law had surgery for ovarian cancer hysterectomy and oomphrectomy or whatever it is called. She had a complication where she had to be re opened due to a hemorrhage and had transfusions. She is in intensive care with a tube to help her breath, why? they are planning to move her out of there if she gets better tonight.. but what is the tube for breathing for and what does it have to do with the surgery?
Ovarian Cancer Question?
Alright, that's start from the beginning. About 4 years ago I was told I had high risk HPV and they found ad normal cells on my cervix and removed them. A year later I had a normal pap the doctor said my body fought it off. I have have normal paps for the last two years besides from a yeast infection and some other kind of infection. that I took meds for. But for the last couple months I have been feeling nausea every now and then and this last month constant lower back pain. I have also been bleeding in between periods and have irregular periods. The weird thing is when I am on the pill I dont bleed between periods. I have been to the doctor a couple of times and they seem to think its nothing and wont run any tests. I am terrified that I have ovarian cancer?? I dont know how to convince the doctors that I would like to have test run. Each time I go in I sit there like a fool and cave in to what they are saying but I dont want to be a statistic. Any advice?? Thank you

For the past almost three years I have been having vagina pain. I had all type of basic test done and came out negative. The pain still never went away as I suffer from it daily. A large cyst the size of a baseball was found on my right ovary. It is in the process of being tested after I just had it removed. However the pain is still there and so is the constant and daily foul smelling discharge ive been having for two years. I had the normal blood work done at the hospital and all came back fine. If I have had this possible ovarian cancer for two years , do you think it would have shown up in my blood work at all by now? I'm very frightened.
