i started having the mumps 8 days ago... i feel good not my cheeks are perfect i dont feel sick but my moms keeps telling me that i cant walk to much, i cant driveee or do anything with my girlfriend.. is this all true? or can do whatever?
How long will it take for my mumps to go away?
I was taken to A& E on Sunday with severe back pain and a swollen face. Anyway after further investigation it was found to be mumps I'm 22 and had both MMR vaccines as a child .Since then my face and throat have gotten more puffy, but what's really painful is my jaw and teeth, my gums seem to have swelled and are now really painful, oh and I can't swallow so I'm just a big drooly mess now.I just wondered how much longer I'll be in this hell until it finally eases off?Thanks

Swelling started on the left side on my jaw saturday and it relively got bigger day by day. Sunday, I went to the emergency room because all the dentists were closed we first thought it was an abyss tooth, but it is not. They gave me some medication. Today, I went to the hospital and got blood drawn because the EMT ear nose and throat people said I might have mumps and to just test or something like that. They gave me some type of medicine to help the swelling go down also. I'm drinking lots of water and sucking on lemon drops now. But how long does it usually take for this to go down? I have a dance on Friday and I really don't want to miss it. How long does it usually last?

Good day, I just wanna ask you guys about this problem I had since yesterday. The end of my jawline under the left ear becomes painful. Before it happened, I remembered that I slept while my neck is tilted to right. During that time I also slept with my chewing gum in my mouth If it has something to do with that . I also have a bad cough that I still have for 1 week. I woke up yesterday feeling the pain of my jaw so I tried to massage it. But when I woke up today I had noticed that my jaw becomes bigger. What is it? I know guys some of you would advise me to call a doctor. I am just busy right now working on my thesis so I dont have a time. Please help God bless and thanks
Would i be safe to roll on molly (prue MDMA) after getting the measles/mumps shot?
I am going to a concert tonight with my friend and the plan we had was to roll on molly pure MDMA , but the problem is that i just went to the doctors and they gave me a measle mump shot. The shot is injected into the tissue not into the mussle...if that helps. please let me know ASAP if it would be safe for me to take this drug after getting this shot. I think I have mumps, could I?
I am having pain the the left side of my neck and it's swollen. It hurts to swallow and the only way I can explain is it's like touching a bruise each time I swallow. Between my ear and jaw, it's tender to the touch. Could it be mumps or is it something else? I've never had or experienced anything like this before so I'm nervous and scared. Please help.

Hey guys. About 4 days ago, I was having a bit of pain under my left ear cheek and when I woke up the next day, the one side of my face was swollen as hell. It's all under my ear and kinda my jaw that's swollen and its a bit painful to put pressure on. I've been having temperature problems as well, but the headaches and feelings of sickness I had at first have gone away.After calling the doctor, rather than bring me in to check, he told me over the phone it " may" be mumps or a viral big help, right? and gave me some antibiotics. I've been using them over the last three days with painkillers and I'm feeling a lot better, but my question is, how long will the actual swelling last? It's incredibly embarrassing, I don't want to go out wearing a Phantom of the Opera mask haha.Thanks in advance.
