My mum is mrsa positive is vomiting after solid food can anyone help?
She has cellulitis mrsa and is now vomiting when she ingests solid food. Is this a problem which maybe linked to Mrsa and Heliobacter Pylori. I have some Peptac liquid for her prescribed by the doctor will this help. I have taken her off anti sickness tablets as they are making her sick. She is on Analapril too. can anyone advise me please? Her appetite is extremely poor and she is reluctant to drink as many fluids as she needs. She is mentally astute and has been in hospital recently so doesn't need re admitting as there is nothing more they can do. I just need to sort out her feeling nauseas after food. It doesnt always happen.

So I'm a 14 year old girls and have had mrsa aleast 20 times but like 30 or more bumps because when I get it I get like 3 at a time and its the worssssst pain in the world. Right now I have one in my ear and under my arm pit I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and I know they probly won't do anything again. I don't get why they can't put me on a iv in the hopitale for a couple of days. I mean how bad does it have to be. And sometimes there like baseball size I would rather die then live like this the rest of my life. I've had it for over a year too

My sister has had mrsa in the past, 1 1 2years ago to be exact, and she babysits my 5 1 2month old daughter. My baby apparently scratched my sisters nose on tuesday. Meanwhile my daughter has touched my sisters face and then placed her hands in her mouth for sure cuz well that's what babies do. I washed everything in my house but now today, Saturday, I noticed a small patch of pimples on my daughters thigh along diaper line. Could it be mrsa? I am freaking out When she wakes from her nap I may bring her to children's hospital, but how do they test her if there is no open wound to swab?

In August 2008, I had a c section and in the days following I started feeling ill and noticed a pus type discharge from my suture site. Went to my doctor who prescribed a " cillin" drug which only made it worse they didnt swab the infection or anything at this time . About 3 days later I developed a fever which progressed to over 105 quickly, my husband and my cousin had to race home from work immediately to get the kids ages 18 months and newborn at the time and my husband had to carry me to the car since I could not walk and could barely talk. I was shocked when they immediately came in with iv antibiotics and swabbed the incision site only to find it was MRSA. They do have it listed as the time contracted was during the hospital stay or during my surgery itself. I have not had any active infections since and anytime I have been tested it comes back negative as a carrier. I've read that a certain series of swabs within a certain amount of time can confirm you are not a carrier risk. Is that true? My reason for wanting it removed is I'm pregnant again and with this on my chart I am not allowed to labor anywhere but a room with a bed. I cannot have a tub, cannot walk halls, nothing. I have to be yellow gowned and from previous experience going to the er or something similar they have treated me as dirty and I am just in tears thinking of being treated as such during what should be a beautiful time. It's like the nurses in the er forget mrsa is a clinical infection most of the time, not from life choices.It's just horrible, I cannot even walk to the nursery window to see my baby while they are there. To be quarantined in a room the entire time i'm there just saddens me. I just want a normal birthing experience and due to a hospital that's under investigation for so many staph infections being contracted there... I can't have it I've even been turned down for a job because of it. I went to school to be a medical assistant, paid money, and when that's seen on your medical chart after a physical they don't want you working with patients who may have a compromised immune system. I'm so sick that this was a sanitary issue within a hospital that caused this and now it effects my entire life.
