I have an inguinal hernia and generally the only pain I have associated with it is in my scrotum whb i run or climb stairs, not the area where my hernia is. Also, how can I relieve pain Until surgery?

I have an inguinal hernia and today for wrestling practice we had to do sprints so I think that messed me up. My hernia started hurting more and more and I had stomach ache like 2 hours ago before practice when it didnt hurt which then turned into me having diarrhea. I started having goosebumps and chills going through my body which was when my hernia wasn't hurting. It's been like 2 or 3 hours that its been hurting and the pain sort of stopped but I can feel my testical like the shape of it and a little bit of pain like pressure being put on it. Should I go to the emergency room or what should I do? Things I have are fever,headache,diarrhea,sharpish pain,nausea.

So ive had this hernia for a while as i noticed the bump about 2 years ago but it has stayed about the same size. I've been reading into a lot of people who got the surgery but the difference is most people are in there 40's and 50's. I am 19 years old, very active in sports and very in shape and am having open surgery where they make one incision and just put a mesh over the hernia. How long is it going to take me to recover from this? Older men say it takes up to 3 weeks to recover but I had a friend who said he could walk around normal after only 6 days...Does my age and activity level play a factor in this? I have never had very many injuries in all the sports I play and feel I have a pretty resiliant body to injury. I really would like to be able to walk around normally after only a week or so. ok for a long time now maybe 2 3 years i have had what i think is inguinal hernia,after a long time searching im confident i do but online i see people that you need to get surgery and everything but for me i have the slighest one in my scrotum left side and it has NEVER hurt me or effected sports or walking or anything it is quite small and have never caused pain even when i apply pressure to push it back in there is none.It goes back inside every now and again,i am to embarrassed to go to my parents about this matter so i was wondering can someone give me advise will i need surgery? to get it checked with a doctor
Can adhesion from inguinal hernia repair be seen on MRI?
Hi, Six years ago I had a laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair on the right side. The pain in my right testicle the reason for which I had the surgery did not went away on the contrary over the following years had increased. Actually now I feel very much pain on the entire lower right side of my abdomen. I had many medical investigation kidney , liver, colon , appendix was removed to try to figure out where the pain is coming from. Now my doctor is assuming that there may be a adhesion scar that affects the nerves and was produce by the laparoscopic surgery and he wants me to have an MRI done to see where this adhesion may be.I have few questions 1 Can a scar adhesion that affects the nerves be seen on a MRI 2 Can the pain be caused by an adhesion since some times is stronger when I sit and get better when I walk ...shouldn't be constant intensity of the pain?3 Can the nerves be released from such adhesion or the adhesion can be dissolved?Thank you I have
Can an inguinal hernia cause gas?
My boyfriend says he has pain it comes and goes to the left of his pelvis by the groin, but there's no bulge or any kind of lump protruding and he says he has gas. What could this be? I heard if you do have a hernia and you cough, it hurts and he coughs, but feels no pain.
Is my inguinal hernia healing?
I've had this hernia for about two in a half yrs. About two days ago it the bulge was a lot smaller, i massaged it back in and felt a pinching pain and it stayed in all day. The next day it was still in until about lunch time to when i felt it i pushed it in again with a lighter pinching pain. this morning i woke up and it stayed in and still is.could it be that its healing? i had a bowel movement and usually when i have one it bulges out becouse of the pressure but in the past day in a half it has not come out. i have sneezed a couple of times and still no bulge nor pressure. should i be worried? no pain nor pressure felt

i was doing squats, and i felt a burning sensation in my left lower ab pubic area, on the outside of the ab, next to the upper leg. basically about 4 inches below and 2 inches to the left of my bellybutton.its an isolated lactic acid type of burn, it happened a few reps into my 2nd set.a few days ago the same thing happened in the same spot, but instead of a burning sensation it was pressure.i cant feel a bump or anything, and its only happened when i do squats, both time i stopped when i felt it.i was using a smith machine, and i always focus on using proper form when i do squats, but i don t use a belt.i ve been working lower abs a lot lately, could this maybe just be a strain soreness etc. in the muscle?

Inguinal Hernia bowels question?
I'm having inguinal hernia surgery on Thursday, and I'm wondering how one would be able to use the bathroom 2 after the surgery without pushing. I know this is an awkward question, but it's a serious one too.
