Should we take more water during hyponatremia and will it attack frequently?
I was diagnosed with hyponatremia?
The doctors said I got it from my alcoholism. When I was rushed to the hospital, when they hooked me up to a heart moniter, my heart kept skipping beats. They also said I had an anxiety attack too. When I research hyponatremia online, I can't find anything related to hyponatremia & skipped heart beats pvc . Is there a possibility that I could have been misdiagnosed? By the way, I am a 21 year old female.. thanks

Hyponatremia (low sodium levels) question?
Hello,My grandmother was just diagnosed with hyponatremia, and I had a few questions about it. On 9 24, her sodium level was 133, on 9 28 it was 130, and today 9 30 it was 128. She has been exhibiting a lot of confusion the past week or so, and fell due to muscle fatigue on 9 28. Her doctor told her to drink 48 oz of fluid per day, half of which must be Gatorade. Because of her confusion, her response was if I feel like it, I will. My questions are At what level does hyponatremia become dangerous?Should she be admitted to the hospital due to her confusion and possible balance issues because of the low levels? She lives in an assisted living facility right now.Is there a supplement she could take to insure this doesn t happen again? Thanks for all your help
My dr has diagnosed as having hyponatremia and has put me on a fluid restriction. Are there any supplements or foods that can help ? I can only have 2 liters of watera day including coffee, soda, milk for my cereal and soup. I am thirsty and like drinking water. I am having a hard time with this restriction and I don't follow it I will end up back into the hosp. Does anyone know what will help? I don't gulp a lot of water at one time. I just pour a glass and sip and sip through the day . Thank You
Hyponatremia and belligerent attitude?
Why would someone who has hyponatremia be exhibiting belligerent behaviour? Does it have to do with the water outside the cells and not enough space in the brain? Trying to figure out how the 2 connect. Any info on this would be appreciated.
