I have a 10 year hydrocephalus's kid, he is allergic to studies tried every possible way, also sent him to special school but without any improvement , he is my only child ,want him to to be independent in life please help me , or let me know what are the tricks and tips to increase his memory and concentration levels.
Recently diagnosed with hydrocephalus at 26 feels like constant water up my nose is this from that or no?

I have had a headache for over a month. I also have hydrocephalus. my sypmtoms are headachesnauseadizzienessnot hungry or thirstytired all the time.cant look up. it hurts my head hurts 10x more laying down than sleeping.my neck and stomach hurts where my shunt is no energy what so ever.My mom doesnt know if its my shunt malfunctioning or my eyes. I do take a computer class and we were wondering if this could be the case. or just a coincedence. This would aliviate some fears i have.KimmyI have had hydrocephalus since birth. had my first shunt in at 3 months, and my last surgery was when i was 16. And i have had a total of 10 surgeries. and every time my shunt breaks, it always requires 2 surgeries in the same year weird, but, its my body. Just wanted to add more info in regards to my past.

3 days ago he had a surgery, he had some kind of infection, in his valve, I am not an expert in medical field, but it is right to put another valve in his brain without removing the other one? is somebody can provide me some Information, and advise me about a good hospital in the USA, because in the country where I use to live there is not such thing, so I will appreciate your commentsbesides can anybody tell if people with that condition live as much as a healthy person, as I said I will appreciate your comments, I guess that is it thank you. Can an older person drive after having a ventricular shunt installed for hydrocephalus?
My Granddad had a shunt installed this year for Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. He is driving us crazy because he wants to drive, and the family is not so sure that is a good idea. Does the medical field have any rules against someone with a shunt driving?

People who have or care for people with hydrocephalus?My little boy who is 3 months old had a vp shunt put in yesterday and im being discharged today and quite frankly im terrified Im scared that something will go wrong or I wont pick up on something that im ment to.. Like the shunt maufunctioning? All the warning signs are basicly what any baby does.. Vomit, irritable.. & what happens if he has,a rougth and tumble when hes abit older and bumps his head? Im terrified.. I just want to protect him, hes my brave little boy xx

I have hydrocephalus. I don't have any real problems with it the only thing I really hate about it is people who think they've gotta feel sorry for me, but just how common is it? I've only known two other people who have had it, but I've also heard it isn't uncommon. Once again, Just how common is it?
Chronic Hydrocephalus?
I have had the ETV Surgery in oct 2011 for my Chronic Hydrocephalus. Iv manage to find a part time job as a job share 5 hours a week cleaning not cuz of my convictions because hydrocephalus ops can fail in time Iv have been noticing that when i am working or picking stuff up i feel pressure building up in my head then when i stands up right or sits up right then i go symptom free the back of my nic beats like my CFS is draining then goes back to normali got a MRI Scan in may 2012 and iv got to see my Neurosurgeon in July on my birthday for the scan results.should i tell my NS this whats in my question or is it normal for somebody with hydrocephalus. I am hopeing that i do not have to have a shunt lumbar puncher i had a lumbar puncher in june that LP kills.
