This is sooo embarrassing But I got an outbreak of herpes type1 on my belly..n they r super painful Do u guys know anything that could help it go away fast Plz I would appreciated big time
Can herpes simplex type 2 travel to the eye or brain? or is it herpes simplex type 1 only?

Okay so my friend gets cold sores. But she doesn't have a cold sore or is sick right now. But she touched the piece of gum that I put in my mouth. Am I infected? She did put her hand in her mouth before she gave it to me.

so i received oral sex from my girl friend a little while ago and i realized that i had what could either be a small pimple on the lower end of my lip or it could be a cold sore. my question is can i get the virus on my genitals if i kissed her with the sore and then received oral sex i know its transmittable through oral but could she give it to me that quickly after a kiss . im kinda freaking out so if i could just get serious answers i would appreciate it...also if i get myself tested while it show up right away or would i have to way X amount of days...does herpes simplex one cause simplex 2?

I'm considering dating this girl but she carries the herpes virus and gets cold sores, but not very frequently 2 4 times a year . She got it when she was kissed by a family member as an infant. I obviously don't want to catch the virus myself so is there ways that I can avoid catching it? I obviously want to kiss her make out and what not.NO ONE in my direct family has ever had a cold sore out break. I myself have quite a good immune system and don't encounter much stress, i'm just always in a good mood.I'm basically looking for reliable information about cold sores and how I can avoid being infected by the virus. Can you still be infected if there are no cold sores present? Can you stop the virus from spreading?
If have herpes simplex 1 (on my neck), can i spread it to other parts parts of my body?
I am male, and i have some sort of herpes on my neck, i have been told maybe shingles, herpes gladiatorum or something in that family idk. And was wondering if i were to accidentally touch them and then touch another part of my body would it spread? or am i immune to another out break?It is the second time iv gotten this, the last time looked just the same, small probably the size of a dollar coin cluster of infectious filled blisters. or bumps. It did not spread or stretch out nor is it doing that now, Aad i already am taking acyclovir, thanks though.

Can these be signs of an std? I have 2 ulcers in my throat and i heard they can be a sign of herpes simplex.Theyve been there for about a week now but theyre almost healed. Ive never had cold sores, so are these a sign or are they just there?
Can you get genital herpes simplex 2 from someone who has oral herpes simplex 1?
I know someone who just contracted genital herpes 2, and her bf claims he only has oral herpes simplex 1. Does that mean 1 can turn into 2? Or does this mean that either he is lying or she actually got it from another partner??

I have read that if your initial infection of genital herpes occurs in the first trimester of pregnancy, then it can cross the placenta and cause brain damage and birth defects before the baby is even born. Now I am terrified and worried this has happened to my baby, Has anyone had ANY eperience with this? I would love to hear about anyones experience with herpes during pregnancy, thankyou in advance for any answers...Ok guys thanks for your answers but my concern is about the initial outbreak occuring in the first trimester and possible problems from this not the actual delivery of my baby...

Hey. Im 14 and ive had herpes simplex since a child. A few months ago ive had an outbreak. the cold sores are gone but ive got pimples around the spot. Is it ok to kiss?
Worried I may have Herpes simplex..?
So my mom has herpes simplex. I don't know how long she has had it for, but I found out a couple months ago. I have been kissed by her, shared drinks with her, and eaten off of her food utensils when I was little. I do not recall having a cold sore ever, but I do get canker sores a lot at least I hope they're canker sores. I have a boyfriend who I want to have sex with I have already given him oral and now I'm worried I gave it to him because I think my mom might have given it to me. This means that he could unknowingly have genital herpes What are my chances of this? My mom doesn't appear to have cold sores that often...so I need some answers.I have gotten oral from him as well. But I have never shown any signs of blisters or sores. Even when I have gotten really sick.
