What's the difference between gout and arthritis?
Ok, I've been reading about natural remedies at gout101.com but i'm not sure just what the difference is between that and arthritis?
I have bad pain from gout in my toe. I have some hydrocodon 5-500. How many can I take without taking 2 much ?
Natural way to get rid of gout?
Does orange juice aggravate gout?
I've only heard this by word of mouth and can't find any other information on it. If I have gout, should I cut back or eliminate orange juice, or will it make no difference?
Burning feet and gout?
I am a very active 52 year old and have been the last 15 years. About 12 years ago I had my first case of gout and have been struggling with it every year or two since. About 6 years ago I started getting burning feet. I tried all kinds of things and finally found a website a month ago suggesting backing soda BS and ACV apple cider vinegar with the mother to relieve the gout. I used that and got over the gout a bit quicker. I noticed when I had the gout this last time my feet burned much worse. I decided to drink the ACV BS twice a day and LOTS of water in between. I have noticed the burning in my feet is 95 % better if not more. I think I have two problems, my body does not like high purine foods and I was dehydrated. Wondering if anyone else out there has this same experience. Mostly I want this out here for others who have similarly suffered without a cure.
I'm experiencing gout, what's the best cure?
I'm only 13 and this has never happened before I'm extremly healthy I've heard that cherry juice helps but is there a better cure and how long is this going to take? I have school on Wednesday.?
So would a person with gout always need crutches?
I know very little about it, but I have just got a new lecturer who as it so happens has gout. He simply mentioned it in passing to explain his crutches and the sandal on one foot. But I read that it's the sort of thing that just flares up so at times do you think he can walk normally or not?

Why was I diagnosed with gout?
I went to the after hours care at my doctors today bc my foot has been hurting mostly at the joint of my big toe. They x rayed me and they said nothing seems broken or fractured. So the lady was like 'I don't know what it could be so I'm going to say its gout" . I find that hard to believe because it's not red, warm or swollen, and doesn't feel like fluid is around it at all. It doesn't hurt to the touch, only a sharp pain when my big toe gets bent upward. And I'm only 21, don't drink, and no one in my family has ever had gout. When I move my big toe it feels like the bone is jammed, and the bone seems to be sticking out a little more than my other foot. So do you think I should refrain from getting the gout medication she prescribed me and get a second opinion?I know I just posted this question but the answers were not helpful.

Healthy 18 year-old and Gout?
I'm an 18 year old guy, 5 7" , 140 pounds About 63 kg , I eat fairly healthy I stay away from carbonated drinks, sugars, white flour..., I'm not extremely strict, but I stick to that most of the time. and according to some websites, I don't eat food that is high in Uric acid, I did have breakfast two times this weak with a moderately listed Uric acid Oatmeal.I usually workout 2 3 times a week, and at least once. But I haven't worked out in a month or so, until couple days ago I did a 36 minutes of running on a treadmill My shoes aren't meant for running, but I've used it to run for six months after I was done I kind of felt one toe sore but really not much which didn't bother me at all. And last night before I want to sleep I felt few of my toes sore again. Nothing major.The horror I woke up at 6 30am with a very, very painful feeling in all of my toes in the morning. the pain woke me up and I seemed to be cold and shaking. A few minutes later the pain subsided, but it was still there. I'm not gonna lie, I was scared I immediately went to the doctor, and the pain was not severe by any means on the way there, it seemed to range from low to low moderate. The doctor examined my toes and said it was likely caused by the running two days ago, and prescribed a painkiller 500mg paracetamol, 30mg caffeine, 10mg codeine phosphate .After a little research more like google , I found that a " Gout attack" is described very similar to what I had but then I found out that this is most likely to happen to older men above 50 or obese unhealthy people At least that's what I understood , and I also found out that usually pain in Gout keeps getting worse for the next 8 12 hours after the initial sharp pain, but mine now, 6 hours later after the sharp pain and 3 hours after I took one pill of that painkiller, I feel a weird sensation in my toes, and very minimal to no pain discomfort .If anybody can tell me whats the possibility that I have this, It'd be appreciated? All my knowledge on gout is based on extremely basic google search of 30 minutes, ANY help and input will be appreciated
Gout in the side of my foot?
i just went to the doctor cause of a swelled bump on the side of my foot and the doc said it is gout but i thought gout is in people ages 40 and up i am only 22 and i though gout was in the big toe can i really have gout on the side of my foot at age 22? i would not ask but i live in a hick town and the Dr is kinda dumb
