What is antral gastritis ? just had a day quick look inside me yesturday.?
I went to a place where its call gastroLntestinal endoscopy They had a look inside my chest and tummy. I constantly get chest pains.. they said they cant find anything explanation for it but may be musculoskeletal And i personaly dont no if thats a bad thing or a good thing.They said they dint found anything and all seems normal but they found something call There is an antral gastritis present with an erosion in the prepyloric area they also daid they took a piopsy from that region for urease test and further piopsies for histological assessment.now can someone explain to me exactly what this means and could it be a genrious virus thing at all? I dont understand all these large names of body part names.. but they only found that... the rest of everything seems to be quite normal in me.I have to go to my local doctor on wednesday to get results.. But what if its cancer ? what if its something seriously? I had this check up yesturday thursday. So im alittle skeptical to know what it might be ? i dont want to end up been sick if its worse.
How long will my gastritis and duodenitis last?
I have gastritis, and duodenitis. I used to drink heavily, I used to take handfuls of acetaminophen a day. When I was prescribed omeprazole, I tampered with my medication and overdosed on it each day by 5 times. I used to binge eat right before bed, and I took MDMA each weekend up until last weekend. I stopped drinking and smoking a few months ago, I quit drugs last weekend, and all of the other destructive habits ended months ago as well. I have had tests done to look for GERD, bile reflux, hiatal hernia, H. Pylori, only to be told that there is nothing wrong other than the inflammation. I was told that I have an extremely small hernia, and that it didn't even show up on the G.I. series. I'm off of the PPI's now, and I'm starting to feel a bit better, but I just wanted to get an idea of how long this will last. Thank you for your help.

I just got diagnosed with gastritis. I have still been having massive stomach pains. I have been trying to slowly figure out what I can and can't eat. I have been dealing with this for almost a week now. I finally got sick and tired of trying to figure out.what to eat and not to eat that i switched to a all vegetarian diet. No meats at all. I miss my big macs LOL. I am trying to figure out what can I eat and can't. I have researched it over and over. Every one says something different. Please help me and if u have gastrtis how did you learn to deal with it?
Chest pain when breathing? Recently diagnosed with gastritis?
I recently was diagnosed to have gastritis for eating too much chips and soft drinks. Does it have any connection to my chest pain? When I breathe, there's a sharp pain on the left side of my chest.
Should I drink milk if I have gastritis?
I was diagnosed with gastritis around 3 weeks ago after an endoscopy procedure..my doctor prescribed some pills but he told me to drink lots of milk..at least 2 cups a day. It makes me very uncomfortable but I am not lactose intolerant. I still have a sharp pain on my right side, beneath the ribs...it won't go away even after 3 weeks of treatment and watching what I eat...anyone with similar experience?

No medication, how to get rid of gastritis pains QUICK!?
I'm visiting my grandma and uncle far away from home, and it's about 3AM. No one's awake, and I have access to NO medication what so ever. They had just moved in so they barely have anything in the house.What can I do to make the pain go away? I'm really tired, and I can only sleep on my stomach, but when I lay on my stomach, the pain comes more and I don't want to wake up my grandma since I share a bed with her.Please help Also my grandma has mints filled with chocolate, no peppermints I also don't have a car nor access to a store nearby.

Ok, so here's the deal. My friend is the nicest person in the world but she recently found out she has gastritis. But she loves chocolate and losing that absolutely wrecked her for awhile. Is there any kind of chocolate she can eat? Like white chocolate or dark or fluffed or whatever, I just want to find out. Thanks.
How to get rid of Gastritis :(?
I have gastritis so badly. I can't eat anything. My stomach starts burning so bad within 15 30 minutes after eating something. Then burping starts and follows the bile reflux or acid reflux . It's so bad that it's almost like putting chili paste on a cut wound. I think I have stomach ulcers as well. I can't stand the burning and the only thing I can do is drinking water like crazy hoping that it would dilute the stomach acids. I took Rabeprezole Sodium proton pump inhibitor 20mg tablets for like 2,3 months and gastritis didn't come up at all during that time. But now i stopped taking it and it has came up again. What should I do? I can't take it anymore. I'm really scared that my stomach walls are getting thinner and acids would burn it all the way down to the bottom and make holes in my stomach. I don't know if that's possible or not but I'm really really scared '
