Can i get gangrene from my diabities?
i was just recently iangnosed with type diabities, i am not even fat so it really sucks im now scared ov everything Things i would normally never think of ike going blind or gangrene or amputation, is NOW on my head 24 7. I am literaly ganna just loose it soon. Im scared A lot, anyway can i get it if i take care of myself and my numbers are good. Can i still get it??i seen the pictures and OMG its scary , it looks like DEAD PEOPLE. someone please tell me. Thankyou
Boil on my knee maybe causing gangrene? Please help!?
I have a boil staph on my knee. I went to the doctor monday and he looked at it and prescribed me Bactrim. since I started taking it, the boil has gotten better. Tuesday I went back to work and I stand for 9 hours a day. since Ive been back to work I have noticed a large splotchy pink area spreading down my leg calf. every day its further down. I just took my pants and shoes off to discover that it is to my ankle and my ankle is swollen The pink area feels kind of like a slight bruise. Closer to my foot doesnt hurt at all.The pink area is also warmer than compared to my other leg. Please help and with your answer please say if you are speaking from experience or opinion BOTH COUNT
Why would people let there body get gangrene?
ok i understand what it is but it takes literally along time to get it u would have to have a horrible infection and leave it there for months.. why would anybody do this? has anybody ever had it?

Can i get gangrene from this hand blister infection?
HelloLast week i was playing tennis and got blisters on my hand and one of them broken whilst playing...when i got home i removed the skin and stupidly didnt apply alcohol or antiseptic...a couple days later i started to feel some pain and swelling around this blister and after a day an area of my hand was red and swollen and painful also likes there is alot of pressure on the hand and hand move the fingers properly...i went to the doctor and they gave me antibiotics to take and it has almost been 24 hours since ive began taking them...however my hand is still quite inflamed and sore on both sides of the hand but it hasnt turned blue only red pink so far and i think i can see some pus under the skin where the blister was but i cant squeeze it out because the skin isnt really open...so i was just wondering is there is a possibility gangrene will form and also when should the antibiotics begin to work? Im also applying betadine during the day...also is there risk i will have any permanent damage from the infection?Thank you D
My uncle is in fatal condition in the hospital with gangrene and lung blood clots.what are his chances?
what are his chances at living from blood clots in his lungs and gangrene in both legs.the doctors already amputated one leg up to the knee.he has many blood clots in his lungs also and nobody will say what his chances are at living through it.

i know this is a weird question but as you can see im really scared..my diabetes is well under control to the point were my doctors gonna take off the diabetes pills.i only take the diabetes pills.i dont inject myself..the reason i ask cause ive become vigilant meaning im very aware of my body and any little thing i see i get worried..ok the reason i ask because Ive been feeling cold sensations around my body,sometimes im feeling hot sensations.sometimes i feel ache pains in my feet,toes,back, stomach,chest,arm,leg,my testicals been hurting.my bladder area been hurting too.ive been feeling ichy around my bodymy legs,eye lids,arm & butt cheeks been twitching and im on 6 different medications for different things.ive been on these meds for years already..ive been very scared because everytime i see something green on my arm i automatically thing its gangrene.like on my hand,i saw something green but turned out to be my veins.so any little thing i get worried..so does anyone happen to know wht im feeling these pains..and i know its not the diabetes..i never had this problem..i weight 335 pounds and im trying to lose weight..

im 15 and have a ingrown toenail i belive is infected for a month or so prob. lately i have put hydrogen peroxide on it and after that a bandage with triple anti biotic ointment on it. and for a wyle i have had a green spot on my left leg. not very dark you can notice it but not allot its just about a little less than a foot below my leg connect area pelvic w e that one does not hurt at all but today i noticed a small spot just like the one on my leg on my left arm but about half the size and the one on my leg is about half a inch wide? if that. the one on my left arm if i push it if feels sore until i stop pressing it. and also feels sore just above it. and my right arm felt kinda like that where its sore but it hurt a little more when i pushed it but it didn't have a green spot it didn't have anything till i messed with it and it has like a brown bruise now. idk what gangrene looks like or feels like and if it can come from my ingrown toenail what are the chance's of getting it? i have not noticed any other green spots like that but they are kinda pale i can notice the one on my leg more than the one on my arm i have to really start to see the one on my arm. so far the leg one has not hurt at all the left arm one about a 1 10 pain level when pushed with 1 being not hurting much. right arm where that bruise is was about a 2 10 cause it feels a little more sore. they do not hurt when i leave them alone only if i push them. omg im 15 and i get scared over nothing. im kinda like my grandma lol. but please provide details thank you. also im male. oh one more thing they look kinda like green bruise spots but i have not hit my arm or anything there? idk
