ok i've an appointment next week to find out if i have gall stones cause i'm getting desparate pains in my stomach lately and haven't been feeling well either for the last past month. is there any side effects for the gall stones?

After several consoltations with gps and specialists they have concluded that they think I've gallstones. He is sending me for an ultrasound...after having blood tests and xrays and pap smear that were normal. Having pain in tummy, back, sholder, armpits and leg pain and numbness in legs, stomach bloat pain in chest and weird breathing ? Tho I think the breathing thing is possibly anxiety? . Any1 get this?
Someone who has experienced gall stones..need advice?
I am a 36 yr old femael. A little over a year ago I started getting pains in my chest. It would start out little and eventually get rather painful. It is not my heart. It is lower down in the center and to the right. I couldn't sit or lay because it made it worse. It would happen every few weeks mainly in the evening. Sometimes my abdomen gets hard and painful right before one of these attacks. I thought it was related to my esophogus and it was spasming. But I have had 4 people tell me it sounds like gall stones. I had one 11 days ago that was pretty bad, lasted over an hour and then just went away. I had another one 2 days ago, this one was really bad, the pain was so severe I was crying. This time there was a lot of pain across my back. Once in a while I get one of these attacks and they are mild, I can function just with some minor discomfort. The worst one i had lasted 6 hours. I am without health insurance and am not sure what to do. Any advice would be great.
If requested, can I have my gall bladder removed even if there are no gall stones or infections?
gallstones run in my family and more than half of my family has had their gall bladder removed due to complications. I just want to be proactive instead of having to deal with severe pain and have it removed later in life.
Have you ever had gall stones?
My mom has gall stones, and her dr. says she needs to have her gall bladder removed. She would like to hear some other people's experiences with gall stones. Have you ever had them? Did you have to have your gall bladder removed? If so, what was the recovery like, and how large how many were your scars? How long was it before you were back at work after the surgery?Thanks for any answers

Hi all. No chance I'm preg But I wake up feeling sick and have neausa until midday. I feel sick have a headache etc. Lately I've lost my appetite. I don't like the taste of any alcohol. I had one glass of alcohol last night ended up with running stool upset belly and vomiting. What is causing this please help 10 points

I went to the doctor today because of sever right side and back pain with an upset stomach. The doctor ousts a lot on my stomach and thinks my gallbladder may be inflamed. I have I think a sonagrAm or ultrasound something like that at the hospital in the morning. If it's galstones will they admit right away for sugary or send me home and schedule it for a latter date. I'm just wondering others exerpirnce so I can be mentally preparedIm defiantly having problems with something because I cant eat. Everything makes me sick on my stomach and the pain in my right side can get severely unbearable. They dod not keep me in the hospital though. My doctor is going to reveiw my results. THey were concerned about my spleen as well.
Does taking calcium tablets cause Gall Stones?
i was taking calcium for about 6months as my nails were splitting, then i was taken ill with gall stones. i would like to know if there is a connection. please
