Can it be dermatitis?
A few weeks ago i noticed a dime size dark pink redish spot under my chin. A few days later it started itching real bad. I noticed that the itching its control if i put some moisturizer on it or just simple lotion. However yesterday a very small bump pimple like started growing on the border line of the spot. I know it is something abnormal but should i be really worried?

Seborrheic dermatitis help!?
I've recently been told by my doctor that I have seb derm on my scalp. I was just wondering how many times I should be washing it a week? I'm not sure if washing it every other day is aggravating it, as it's been a lot worse for the past few weeks. I'm currently using a medicated shampoo called Selsun which I used twice a week, and for in between washes I've been told to use a baby shampoo or anything gentle.Can anyone help?
What should I do about facial dermatitis around my nose, cheeks and chin.?
I am a 61 year old male and have never had any real facial skin problems. These symptoms began about 6 weeks ago and have worsened. Last year I had rashes on my body legs, groin, hands, behind the knees, etc. that eventually went away.I am planning to see a Dermatologist unless I learn the visit would be a waste of money $150 for the consultation . Is there a medical or homeopathic cure or even a temporary remedy for this?Thanks for your thoughtful replies.
Will I have seborrheic dermatitis forever?
I'm almost 18 and I think I have seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp. It's itchy and I have yellowish flakes when I scratch. If I use the right shampoos, will I still have this for the rest of my life?
Does dermatitis get worse in the winter?

About a month ago my head started getting really bad and itchy. It got so bad and scratched up it started oozing yellow, well, ooze. We also noticed I had a swollen lymph node since it started so we went to the doctor to see if it was an infection. They said there wasn't an infection and didnt know why my scalp was so bad and oozing. So I did my research and found out there was a type of skin cancer that can be itchy dry, swell up your lymph nodes and cause a kind of sore on your head the doctor, school nurse, and others who looked at it said it was probably a sore . Plus I found out my grandpa briefly suffered from skin cancer a while back. Do I have skin cancer or is it just really really bad dermatitis?

I am a cleaner of a bank, and I am constantly using different chemicals. I have been cleaning for a year nearly, and I have just noticed my hands are going rough and some parts of my fingers have cracked skin is also a white look to them.Any advice?

ok, this is funny weird. I have what appears to be contact dermatitis on my weiner yes, i said that . I went to the doctor for an STD check and everything came back negative. I have been with the same person exclusively for 8 months now....we are both clean, so unprotected sex is happening. we were on vacation last week, staying at a friend's place. well, we had sex as we have many times before. My usual routine is to wash up afterwards, so i went to the friend's spare bathroom and grabbed what i could find to clean up.....Lever 2000 with Aloe..... I may not have pretty certain that i didn't rinse very well afterwards. the next day i went into a public pool...yikes . after an itching session on my junk, the 2 blisters formed.....they were there the day after the Lever 2000 incident. I am wondering about the possible compounding of the soap, then the chlorine as an added irritant. anyway, i went to the Urgent Care, because hey...the goods are not feeling too great right now and painful urination actually stinging was added to the mix. well, this old lady broke me of any shyness that i may have had by making me drop my pants, inspecting me, then jamming her huge finger up my pooper to massage my prostate.Negative on UTI, E.Coli, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, herpes. YAY She did put me on Cipro for my inflamed prostate. the sores on the junk were not addressed, however.After the negative results on the tests that had to be sent out to the lab, i started feeding my hypochondria with thoughts like " dong cancer" , or Syphilis......it turns out that contact dermatitis may have been the culprit most likely anyway . the sores are slow healing and still itch The painful urination, which may have stemmed from the prostatitis, has lessened a bit, but is still trying to hold on. Hopefully the Cipro will knock that out starting day 4 of the 2 week oral treatment ......what i need to know is 1. What is the quickest way to knock out contact dermatitis?2. is there a friendly soap out there to help prevent this? btw, my brother has skin issues with certain soaps as well.....new for me 3. how long does this condition last if not irritated further?thanks for the time.....gotta pee now
What is seborrheic dermatitis in 25 year old male he just got it last year and never had it before?
my friend has seborrheic dermatitis. this occurred to him last year and he never had this before and not genetic. he has it in his head scalp as big as 50p coins 2 and he some times has three of them in a time and now his scalp getting better but not the best? does anyone has any idea how long is it going to take? is it curable? what remedy should he take? cream or shampoo? he said to me his scalp getting better now but his hair not, so can you recommend me for treatment for both reliving his hair and skin scalp please? a appreciated your help
Seborrheic Dermatitis Help?!?
Hi. I am a 19 year old girl that has recently been told I have seborrheic dermatitis. I show only mild symptoms behind the ear redness, small bumps on the scalp, a little dryness on eyes . I was wondering if this condition worsens with age? Also, should I avoid any particular foods or drinks such as caffeinated drinks? I of course web MDed it and found horrible pictures so now I'm super paranoid... Help?
