can anyone with dvt in the past describe there pain? i have read online if clot is in lower leg the pain is felt in the calf...... back of the knee when higher up in the leg.. so can someone describe there pain. i get a pain in the front of my lower leg in the shin area which i suspect its a shin splint ive been running on a treadmill for a few months i just started to run on incline for about 2 weeks, i got new shoes that i havent fully broken in can these be causing the pain.

Do I have deep vein thrombosis (DVT)?
First of all, I'm a huge hypochondriac so this is why I'm worried. I'm 18 and in a wheelchair all day everyday due to muscular dystrophy and while I can move and feel sensation in my legs, there's no activity there besides a couple of stretches everyday. Starting a few years ago I experienced an onset of butt upper thigh pain and visited many doctors and was diagnosed with sciatic nerve pressure. There is also pain more like pressure in both calves, and my calves stay hard all the time. Not swollen but hard. I also have decreased sensations in my legs since this diagnosis and am almost numb on one side of one of my legs going from calf to toes . I was researching if whether or not it was safe to massage my legs and everything said it was except for cases of DVT. I have not been diagnosed wig DVT nor have my doctors speculated that I have it. But again, my calves stay hard. They are very sensitive, especially at the very top below my knee. It relieves pain to squeeze them lightly. Symptoms " Hardness" in both calves, worse on some days, some days unnoticeablePain in both calves Decreased sensationColdness extremely when it's cold out could this be a circulation issue?Upper thigh painOccasional knee painRelief with pressure massagesCompletely immobilized, practicallyPain eases while lying downBasically, does this sound like DVT? Should I call my doctor? If I end up having DVT is there treatment?
