How do I get used to living after being in a coma for 19 years?
I was 21 at the time of the accident. Now I am 40. I have been awake for almost 5 months and I still feel lost. My mom showed me the computer machine and tries to tell me what has taken place but I still feel lost. I lost a lot of my memoories. Will I get used to this and stop feeling so overwhelmed? I feel like an alien. Help me please.

At least, I think it's a coma...It's when someone wakes up from a head injury or something along those lines, and they can't remember their name, or who their family members are, who their friends are basically whoever they had met in their life. Hi there, I'm a film student and am currently concepting a story revolving around a childbirth coma and are after some very key facts. I need to know if it is possible for a child to be born into a coma, and if so, can the child stay in a coma state for 14 years and then wake up? Is this scientifically possible, even if it is extremely rare? And if the child were to stay in this coma for 14 years and then wake up, would he she basically be a newborn child inside a 14 year olds grown body and then start developing from there ??? Or would the child be in a vegetative state and possibly stay in this vegetative state for his her entire life? Would they be confined to a wheelchair or would they eventually be able to progress to be able to walk and talk etc?? Blood sugar of 1695 and diabetic coma?
My father is in the ICU and his blood sugar is 1695. He's in a diabetic coma and earlier he was seizing. What are the chances of survival? Anyone heard of someone in a similar situation? This isn't a joke, so please be respectful. He is 51 and has been hospitalized for other issues three times in the past year.
