Is this acute cholecystitis or bad gallbladder attack, going on now 18 hours now?
about 10pm last night i started to get gallbladder pain, not very bad pain but uncomfortable feeling andn niggling pain, i fell asleep but when i awoke this morning pain was still present and throughout today pain has radiated around my right side to my back area. It hurts when i press on tummy right under my right breast and it also hurts when i take a deep breathe. The pain isn't as bad as i had when i had another gallbladder attack 3 weeks ago, but its just lasting longer this time. I am 31 years old and type 2 diabetic female. Am on waiting list to have keyhole gallbladder removal surgery but could be waiting months..Anything i can do to ease this pain, its like someone is squeezing my right side and under right rib area. By the way the pain yesterday didn't start because of a big huge meal or fatty food or anything, as i have been watching what i'm eating and eating very small and often instead of large meals.
Why do some people have jaundice when they have cholecystitis?
One sign of cholecystitis gallbladder disease with gallstones is jaundice. Why would a person have that?

Can cholecystitis or the medication fro it delay your cycle?
I am taking antibiotics and am alternating tramadol and spolpadol to treat inflammation and infection of my Gall Bladder. I was due my period today but it hasn't arrived and I feel none of the usual symptoms. Has my condition or the medication slowed or stopped my normal cycle?I am only taking the painkillers when i am in severe pain, also I only take the Tramadol once a day. They gave me morphine in the E.R. I was so bad. I finish my course of antibiotics on Thursday and if I dont feel significant improvement by then I will be going to see my Doctor.
Can severe stress cause chronic cholecystitis?
I had previously undergone cholecystectomy due to gallbladder adenomyomatosis chronic cholecystitis. I am only 22 yrs old. I do not normally eat fatty foods and yet I got the said illness. there are no established history in our family about gallbladder problems. Could it be that severe stress caused it?

i can find acute cholecystitis online but i cant find any explanation in lamens terms of subacute cholecystitis. any help is greatly appreciated
