Do I have carpal tunnel syndrome?
i've been on the computer a lot lately and i noticed i have sharp pains in my wrist sometimes. at first i was only when i typed or used the mouse, but now i noticed that it sometimes lasts when i'm off the computer as well. it doesn't hurt too bad though. it's more of an annoying kind of pain. if i do how can i prevent it from getting worse?

Ive had physical therapy and cortizone injections. I had one Dr wanting to do surgery and another Dr telling me hes not sure if i will benefit from surgery. So now that Dr is sending me back to do 3wks of physical therapy. I dont want to go back to work and then have to go out again because of this problem. What to do? Im stuck in this situation and dont know what to do? Somebody please help???
Can you use carpal tunnel braces as a preventative measure?
I just bought two bracers for carpal tunnel but I don't have it. I figured I'd use it to help prevent it because I have bad posture and I have to type a lot for my job.Anyway, can I use them preventatively or are they only really affective to help alleviate it once you get it?I've had some symptoms, some numbness in my right hand, left hand is more of ulnar issues, numbness in the ring and pinky and pain on my ulna bone below my elbow. Sometimes but not often there is slight pain in my wrists.

Ok I currently do consume marijuana semi regularly. I use it both for recreational purposes and to help the pain. I have had extreme back pain for about 4 years now and joint pain in my hands for maybe 3. It does help significantly, but when im not using every few weeks or so i get horrible pain in my back to where I am on the floor crying until someone will step on it for me. I also think I might have ADD. A lot of people ask me regularly and ive never really been able to concenrtrate on the school work the way that I should. I want to do it, but its just so hard to get to it. My mother had it as well, but my grandmother refused to get me tested for it because she said just cause she had it doesnt mean anything.I wont be able to get it right now, but i will be 18 in 1 year. I just would like an explanation about the process and what the requirements are and how i would go apon getting one. Please no crap about how horrible it is for me. Thank you. < 3

I am only 18 and hope I can nip it in the bud. Is there some sort of exercise that I can do or maybe a wrist strap that I can wear overnight. Or maybe something else.

I go to a school that uses laptops instead of pen and paper. That means I'm on this thing typing away 6 hours a day and that's not even including when I go home and facebook and check emails and such . What are some good ways to prevent carpal tunnel, and alieviate symptoms that are already starting?? Thanks

I got into a car accident Sunday, and today I tried to open a door coming at me somebody just exited before me and I felt sharp tingling electric pain all through my wrist. I was resting on my wrist earlier and I realized that my wrist was really stiff.Is this carpal tunnel?My wrist was hurting when I got into the car crash, but not nearly like it was after I opened the door.
Could i still have Carpal tunnel when a test shown nothing?
I had nerve conduction studies on both wrists which the guy said detected no carpal tunnel. However my wrists still ache, get numbness & pins & needles and my arms up to my shoulders Ache at timed too. Could it still be carpal tunnel?
