For a while now when i talk, my voice goes to a hoarse croak, this has been happening for nearly a year now, so ive finally gone to the doctors about it, and she has referred me to a consultant at the hospital in ear, nose and throat department for a VOCAL CORD check Has anyone ever had one of these done?Ive been researching what it could be and ive scared mesen lol.Could it be cancer of the larynx?Thanks in advance guysSorry guess i should have said b4.Im disabled so dont work, and altho i can talk for england my voice isnt overused as in singing lol.Im also worried as i have already had plastic surgery on my throat when i was 6 and a half to enable me to talk.So hope i dont need surgery as i dont think id be able to talk again after it Im not expecting a diagnosis on here just what to maybe expect from hospital like maybe aNasendoscope yukky
