Will I ever get full use of my shoulder back from bursitis?
I was diagnosed with bursitis a couple months ago the same week that I had to have my appendix removed. I am 22 years old. Since then, I have gone back to work but I have limited use of my right shoulder. I don't have near the same amount of strength or flexibility that I used too. I can no longer hold my arm above my head except for more than a couple of seconds. I went to the orthopaedic dr and he recommended physical theraphy 3 times a week for 3 weeks but b c of my hospital bill and new job and i could not go to physical therapy. I only get a spontaneous pain here and there in my shoulder but im worried i wont get full use out of it again since it is my dominant arm. any suggestions? im going to the chiropractor this week for something else, should i talk to him also about it?

My left hip is sore, could possibly be bursitis?
I had bursitis several 5 6 years ago, and after various treatments, meds, etc., I finally had surgery for it I supposively had the bursa removed and it didn't bother me for a long time after that. However a few weeks ago my left hip started to hurt again so far I've seen 2 doctors & had Xrays , and one doctor said I had bursitis again. I'm wondering if that's possible? so far for treatment I'm taking Naproxyn which deosn't seem to be helpin , had a cortisone shot which doesn't seem to be helping either , and am supposed to start physical therapy in a couple of days. I've also tried heat & cold, neither which helps. I'm wondering of anyone else has ever experienced anything like this. The pain is quite bad and prevents me from doing things and being as active as I want to be.

Ankle/heel bursitis, not healing? PLEASE READ? D:?
Long story short, five months ago I was at my tennis lesson and tripped over a ball and fell face forward but landed on my ankle in the process. My ankle within 2 minutes, max. it swelled up to about the size of my fist and a half.I got x rays multiple times and an mri, which showed bursitis, and joint inflamation, I sprained servely as well . Well I did 4 months a physical therapy, no help to be honest. I just was aloud to go back to full force tennis, i got a cortisone shot like 4 week ago, no help. Is there anything else to do? Surgery even maybe? what do they do and what are the recovery times for them Thanks I am about to just give up on tennis completely, please give me some hope D < 3
What is hip bursitis?
Should you be on crutches if you have bursitis?
I have tendinitis, or bursitis in my right knee. My knees bothered me since mid November, and I haven't been able to run track since then. I tried running again in the spring, and my knee got all swollen after running so, I went to the doctor who said I have bursitis in my knee. It hurts so badly even lying down bothers it. Walking hurts so badly, and so does going upstairs. I can't even handle just sitting there, or standing on it without being in pain. The top, middle, left side and bottom are all swollen up on my knee. Should I be on crutches?
I have hip bursitis in both my hips, I've had it for two years. What can I do?
I have had physio, cortisone shots, acupuncture nothing helps. The physio has said that it is unlikely to get better and it is now classed as chronic. My knees are painful, ankles, hips permanently inflamed. I walk with my legs & feet pointing inwards the reason for this is the physio said is that I'm relieving pressure on both bursa but putting pressure on my joints in my legs. She didn't give me crutches to help me, just that if the last course of acupuncture doesn't work then I just have to take painkillers. I work but if I think about the future I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm wondering if anyone can give me advice as to what I can do as regards financial help if or when I can no longer work as I can barely walk now without terrible pain. And what I can do to ease this horrible inflamed joint pain & stabbing pains in my thighs. Please help me if you can, I'm so fed up of this. Many thanks in advance for any replies.
Bursitis, stress fracture, or something else in the joint below my big toe from pointe class?
I have just grown out of my pointe shoes, and the muscles in my feet have atrophied over the summer. In pointe class on Wednesday, I was having a lot of pain. Now the joint between my metetarsol and phalanx on my big toe hurts. It's mostly when I go on releve tippy toes and also when I press the bottom of that joint. Is it more likely bursitis or a stress fracture? Or maybe something else? What should I do for it? Thanks a lot
HELP PLEASE !! Bursitis on my knee ?!?
To make the long story short, about 3 months ago I had bursitis on my left knee, it got bigger and bigger because I kept on playing sports and never rest it until I went to the doctor and found out. He said rest it for 1 2 weeks without playing sports and I did so I took his word and it turned out well. Now 3 months later I have it on my right knee now. But difference from last time is I'm now resting it right after I knew I had it. I did NOT continue to play sports so if I did NOT and I rested it the day after I knew I had it. How long then should I rest it?Hint It wasn't big as it was last time.
Elbow (Olecranon) Bursitis?
I came down with an olecranon aka elbow bursitis two weeks ago. I still am unsure how it came about as there was no incident of trauma to my elbow, however I am very into lifting weights and assume it was an overuse injury. I have had it drained three times, I received a steroid injection into the joint area as well and the swelling has gone down. There is a tiny bit of fluid still left in my elbow and aside from being sore from the injections, it feels fine. However, how long should I wait to start lifting again, and what are the chances of re injuring my elbow?
