My 4 yr old has it and I know that its fairly rare. I am especially interested in hearing from parents that have children with it.

Female no health problems, daigonised w/ autoimmune Hemolytic anemia, dies in heart hospital w/ blood clot .?
female no prior health problems, taking no medictions, no alcohol or drugs, diagonised w autoimmune hemolytic anemia. Taking to er, red blood cells count was 7.9 transferd to heart hospital given blood an stabilized at reb 10. Was told she suffered a heart attack because of termendous loss of blood, mild stroke aswell. No blood was actuallyh lossed, but blood was eating own blood. Layed in hospital bed for 2 day, the nerver massaged legs or put things on her legs for blood clots. Died from blood clot in leg. I think this should have never happened especially in a reknowed heart hospital. Does any body know anything about blood clots and if this a case of over sight or neglect. She leaves a loving close net family that is asking why? thank you very much

I think that the Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia has to do with my husbands low sex libido ? ?
My husband had autoimmune hemolytic anemia as a child but supposedly he is okay now and only needs to take folic acid vitamins. We have been married for 4 years now and have one son together. When I first met him he had told me about the condition he had as a child but I never really paid no mind to it until now that we are have no sex life. I see that he tires easily and his stomach is bloated. He also can't east certain foods because he gets bloated sand often ends up taking aka seltzer. I'm starting to have the feeling that he never wants to have sex because of aiha. I was reading into it and it does mention something about having low sex libido. Is there any treatment for this? I really feel like my marriage is going through the cracks because we have no sexual intimacy and I'm confused and don't know what tho do about it. I basically feel turned off and don't even bother to try to have sex with him anymore because of the rejection I always get. If I don't find a solution to this I'm going to have to leave him because I feel fustrated and unhappy due to lack of affection and intimacy.

i suspect my mom has autoimmune haemolytic anemia, a condition wherein the antibodies attack the red blood cells... does anyone know how this disease can be treated and if it's at all serious? the head medical technician also mentioned that her red blood cells are like surrounded by cold aglutanate w c made it hard for them to come up with her blood type. the rbcs coagulate once it gets out of her body bec. of the temperature. does this mean she can't go to cold climate areas like new york cos we are planning on going there this march? Autoimmune hemolytic anemia?
My sister recently fell ill and needed 2 blood transfusions withing a month.She was just diagnosed with autoimmune hemolytic anemia. The doc put her on prednisone. She has had some reaction to the drug severe joint pain . I know that it has no cure according to western medicine.My question is are there any natural supplements that can help slow her immune system rather than this synthetic one with numerous side effects? ANY input will be HIGHLY appreciated.Thank you.
