Afraid i may have apraxia of speech?
so...i'm not certain but i think i may have this little problem, apraxia." Apraxia of speech, also known as verbal apraxia or dyspraxia, is a speech disorder in which a person has trouble saying what he or she wants to say correctly and consistently. It is not due to weakness or paralysis of the speech muscles the muscles of the face, tongue, and lips . The severity of apraxia of speech can range from mild to severe." does anyone know much about this? i just feel like i have a hard time talking sometimes, or having my verbal speech come out 100 % correctly, and i often find myself having to repeat what i say a lot.does anyone else have this condition or something relative? and if so, have you gotten any " treatment" for it, whether it be speech therapy or something else. please share with me anything you know.ugh, i wish i could share a voice clip of my speech voice so you'd know what i sounded like.

i suffer from motor apraxia i have a terrible time with my hand eye coordination. i also have a very hard time writing my writing looks like a 1st graders but im a 20 year old colleague graduate, ive always had points taken off a school work so it was very hard going through school. and now that im in the workforce its very hard to fill out job applications i usually have to turn to a member of my family to help fill out paper work, does any one else have these kind of problems in life. ive also undergone a lot of motor skilld training none of which have helped me.
Has anyone heard of apraxia? whats best way 2 deal, as a parent?

Any one see a change in child with Autism, autism spectrum disorder, apraxia, ect. With using Choline?
My son is 27 months and not talking. He is very hyper, and has many sensory issues. His diet is poor because of these issues. He had an Evaluation last week and is very delayed in his speech. The more reading I do about Autism, and Apraxia, Sensory issues I see a link between either fish oils, Choline and Vitamin B 12. Has anyone tried these with a child with developmental delays? Speech Delays? ADHD? Did anyone notice a difference in behavior? And what did you try? I have read forums where people switched a vitamin with a Flintstones one with choline and in a child with autism they saw a change almost immediately.
My 3 year old was diagnosed with childhood dysarthria and/or apraxia should i take her to a neurologist?
My daughter has difficulties with speech and fine motor skills and she also has low muscle tone. Her ability to communicate is limited because of her lack of language. she also has a hard time understanding sometimes and get frustrated when I don't understand what she wants to tell me.
