Marijuana induced amnesia?
One time I smoked this super dank purple herb with a good friend over a couple beers. My friend is a hardcore stoner and can finish an 8th within a day and always has the strongest greens you can get. Anyways we smoked a whole bunch and chilled out to some reggae and had an overall cool time until I started to get this hellish anxiety and then suddenly I got some sort of amnesia that really freaked me out I forgot who I was in a way, it felt like someone else had been in control of my body for an indeterminate period of time and I had suddenly awoken and regained control. I looked at mu cell phone menu and saw my friends names and it scared me, I thought about all the girls I had fucked and felt complete revulsion all the while feeling like everything I was and had done wasn't done by me. I felt like some curtain in my brain that concealed all of myinvoluntary actions had been ripped open and suddenly I was aware of all that was going on with my body. Like I said, it was not fun at all. My friend didn't really know what I was going through because I could barely explain what was going on, he just told me to relax, that everythings doing its thing and that I shouldnt worry. But to this day it does worry me a little because every now and then I'll get a mini freak out and have to tell myself to relax. It's not like when I first used to get super high I would go crazy and flip out Gnawing on armchairs and running around and stuff... I hear that happens when you first start smoking a lot. but when this amesia freak out happened I had been smoking for a while and what I want to know is if this has happened to anyone else or if its a freak occurence?
What kind of drug has the same effects of amnesia?
Is there some kind of drug that is used to make someone forget things? I'm writing a song about that topic and i wanted to use a drug as a metaphor. Something like amnesia only in drug form?The person would be conscience, just not remember anything that happened before the pill was taken

I'm just sort of wondering. I just found out that a neighbor of mine got amnesia from a car accident I believe... I don't know her very well so I don't know how severe it is but I do know that she has a husband and kids, and the neighborhood is pretty well off so I'm sure she had a good job, and I just sort of wondered, how exactly would that be coped with? Wouldn't your marriage and job be completely screwed if you forgot everything? And how would you take care of your kids?

For example I work in a coffee shop and a customer will ask for e.g. a scone and a latte and i'll bring them something totally different and insist that is what they asked for, only for another member of staff to back the customer up and say 'I don't know where you pulled that order out of because they didn't ask for that'I'll run the bath and go upstairs for something an hour later and the bathroom will have flooded And I swear I cannot remember running a bath? But I'll be the only one in the house I'll comment on somebody's photograph on Facebook and look through months later and go to comment on it again and see the previous comment but I swear I've never seen that photo before It's just crazy. Is it possible to scientifically induce a biological "amnesia" that prevents the development of cancer?
Since every function in the body is linked to brain activity and scientists have yet to fully understand brain functions, capabilities, etc. , would it be possible, with more developed medical and scientific knowledge, to induce a biological " amnesia" through treatment of the brain? Ex. Make cancerous cells " forget" to mutate in order to stop the growth of a tumor. Especially considering that studies show patients for such diseases that display a positive mindset and mentally " fight" the disease have a higher survival rate? Just curious...Many people in my family have had cancer...if the brain controls the cells in your body and all other functions in your boy , isn't it possible for a mind body link to exist that would help fight the disease? Considering how little we really know about the complexities of brain function? Maybe I'm getting a little Sci Fi, but so did Galileo, and look how that turned out...It was just an interesting thought to me...Buddhist monks have been known to control their heart rate and body temperatures through meditation, that has been scientifically documented. Just curious what the difference between that and my question is.

I have always had bad memory but these days it have been getting worse, idk if its lack of sleep but i've been worrying if it is lack of sleep or not, its like its hard to remember what happen a few minutes ago... its hard to rethink back until someone reminds me... i cant even properly remember what happen on new years eve this year... it hurts trying to remember...If it is lack of sleep should i just go to sleep earlier and it'll solve everything? Is your head suppose to hurt when you are trying to remember something? So far i have lost three things and for all i thought i had it with me .... what should i do? help me.... i'm going through depression..
Is it possible to "die" if you never recover from amnesia?
For instance, you live your life normally, until the day you have an accident resulting in a severe head injury and total amnesia. If you never recover your memory, will you have effectively " died" and become an entirely different person, who from then on experiences new memories post accident?

Do they get a new social security number, are there organizations out there to help them find out who they are, would the hospital expect them to pay their bill.
